Today is my wedding anniversary!!(updated)

23 years!! Quite an accomplishment I'd say. We have a nice home - 2 great kids (DD 16 and DS 14) and not only do we still love each other - we still like each other too (at last most of the time).

Tomorrow we are going out to dinner with DD boyfriends mom - and sending good thoughts to her DH in Bagdad - they share our anniversary - same day - same year - is that an coincidence or what????

Just wanted to thank everyone for he good wishes - our meal was wonderful and the best part - my DD made us a cake - chocolate cake - chocolate buttercream filling and chocolate ganache (fellow WISHERS beware - even thinking abou t this cake adds calories - lol).

Hope you have a wonderful anniversary!! Such a nice gesture to take your friend along as well. I spent many anniversaries alone when DH was out to sea during his Navy career, so I can identify with her feelings on their special day.
