On November 11, 1921, President Warren G. Harding dedicated the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.

On November 11, 1938, Kate Smith first sang Irving Berlin's ''God Bless America'' on network radio.

On November 11, 1993, a bronze statue was dedicated in Washington, D.C., honoring the more than 11,000 American women who served in the Vietnam War.

A most honorable day in history. Thanks Deb.

Thanks Deb for today's very important history reminder.

Thank you Deb.

Most of my family on both sides were in the military at some point.
I have an uncle that was in one of the ships that sank at Pearl Harbor. They told my grandma he died.
They found him alive in an airpocket. She found out unofficially that he was alive 2 days later.
