my new kitten! He's a beautiful blue/brown Maine Coon. At the moment he's only 6 weks old so it'll be 7 weeks before I get to bring him home but he's lovely!!! I'm thinking of calling him Salinger, Sal for short. If I can work out how to post a photo I'll do so. If anyone cam PM me with details how to do this...please do.

I've sent Sal's photo to all of my friends and am counting the days to picking him up....but it won't be for some time yet, at least 7 weeks. The breeder had 35 amazing cats, some of the the size of bears...honest! One was so big that I could bearly hold him.

My friend has 3 and an honorary Maine Coon - a big black long haired cat!! He thinks he is the same as the others!!! They are such beautiful cats.

We have a Maine Coon cross who is now almost 18 years old and would have another at the drop of a hat. Thay are so loving(in their own time!!). They think they are a dog and will follow you around in the same way. They are able to nag you like no other cat we've ever had and are so loyal, My DS2 has special needs and our cat, Henry, is never more than a fewsteps away from him. When he is at school Henry pines and will only sleep on his bed night and day. Your kitten is truely beutiful (if that is the right word for a boy cat!!).

I hope he give you as much joy as ours has given us over the years and hopefully for years to come.
