I hear you! We haven't been letting the tank go below 1/2 so I am not sure exactly how much it would cost to fill our 05 Ford Focus, but gas just hit 3.67 on base and it is almost 20 cents more off base so I am sticking close to home for awhile LOL.

We took the van down to fumes so it was $62 on Sat. Of course, it seems like prices around here are coming down a bit.

It has gotten so bad that I have gotten off my pooh sized butt and am taking DD to and from Kdg in the bike chariot. So now we are saving on gas and I have a sore tush!

Yep, I paid 43.00 last week to fill up my Mustang, and that was midgrade. I used to be able to fill it up with premium for around 25.00!!!!

Well I said I would NOT complain about filing up my cars but starting today DH and I commute together to save $$$. I’m down to ½ a tank and I’m not looking forward toward filling up my Dodge Grand Caravan when the prices are around $3.30 a gallon.

$29.68 for 8 gallons in my Expedition...needless to say, I only go out when I need to and try to make sure things I have to do are not out of my way. We definitely have to cut down on frivolous trips around town.

AAFES is really coming through here on base, they are only charging us what they are paying. Right now its $2.66 on post where it's around $2.99 and higher off post. We don't let the cars get below half and fill up in the morning before work before the lines begin.

I remember a few short years ago being able to put 10.00 in my gas tank and driving all week!
