Try to focus on the positive. WDW has made a number of guest-friendly moves in the last 6 months, including:
- Brought back Early Entry (Extra Magic Hour).
- A LOT more characters in the parks.
- New TOT drop sequences.
- Two new attractions (Mission Space and Mickey's PhilharMagic) set to open this year.
- Beauty and the Beast running daily (it wasn't prior to the end of Hunchback).
...and I'm sure I missed many more.
Rumor has it that the primary reason the Hunchback show closed is that the theater is currently unusable. Apparently it was built with some sort of a special use permit, and now they have no choice but to tear it down.
In the case of Tapestry of Dreams, a replacement show is forthcoming. I agree, it was one of our favorites as well. But now it's time to build some new memories. The show has run its course and I'm anxious to hear about the new parade they will have in place when we return...hopefully destined to be a NEW favorite.
