DS wants to bring his pipe, tobacco and matches. Are there any rules about bringing them on the ship?

We know there are separate smoking areas, but I have only read about cigarettes and cigars, not pipes

AFAIK, DCL only specifies that "In an effort to provide a cruise experience that satisfies both our non-smoking and smoking Guests, smoking (including the use of electronic cigarettes) is only permitted in designated areas of the ship." That would seem to mean any type of smoking.

The smoking policy specifically mentions that E cigarettes must be used only in the smoking areas. But there isn't anything on the policy about things that are prohibited completely. I know cigars are permitted, so I would guess pipes would be too.

I regularly smoke a pipe in the Meridian smoking area. That, a book and an Old Fashioned are perfection for me.
