September 23rd 2007 (Day 11)

Up at 7am today (that's more like it!), CS breakfast (french toast and sausage for me, omelette for Steve) and off to Islands of Adventure we go! We got there for 9am opening and went straight to The Hulk then Dr Doom's Fear Fall and Spiderman. Steve got some Spiderman stuff from the shop and met a few idols..

Next up was both Dueling Dragons coasters and a stroll through Suessland where I got some Grinch pyjama pants and a Thing 1/2 sippy cup for my baby cousin. By now it had started to rain pretty heavily so we decided to hell with it and went on Bluto's Bilgerat Barges, we were already soaked (guess who forgot ponchos? Yeah that'd be both of us..) so a bit more water won't make a difference! When the ride was over it was only midday and the park was just starting to get a bit busy (had been totally dead before that) and we called it a day as we'd basically done what we'd come for, apart from one thing:

Drowned rat Steve

We went back to POFQ, dried off and decided to visit the Premium Outlets. The parking was blimmin awful here, like Cheshire Oaks on a Saturday! (I suppose that's what it is though, similar sort of place..) We got another pair of trainers each and I got a few Disney pins but really we didn't think much of it. We decided on Sweet Tomatoes for dinner so we dodged the Saturday traffic (i'm just glad i'm used to bad drivers at home!) and made our way there. I should probably state now that Steve doesn't usually like salad but we both loved this place! The variety is huge and it's great value for money not to mention a healthy but delicious option. I recently found out that they have them in California so we'll be definitely be eating there again! After dinner we headed back to POFQ to chill, tomorrow is going to be a long day!

excellent day:thumbsup2

Lovely day, we love Sweet Tomatoes too:thumbsup2

I suggest that Steve keep that photo--taken on the bench in front of Bubba Gump's--in his audition portfolio. They may decide to do a Forrest Gump sequel someday and Tom Hanks is getting a little long in the tooth.

The Bubba Gumps bench pic is a must everytime for us-but would you believe we have never eaten there-am i missing something good??.We like IOA especially Seuss Landing.Good day.x.

We love Island of Adventure and Premium Outlets... well DH always buys a suit at Hugo Boss or Armani think theres three in the wardrobe still unfinished and never worn yet!

It looked nice but with being on DDP and there not being many veggie options we decided to give it a miss and just get the photo :)

We were at IOA that day too! We arrived around dinnertime though when it decided to rain really hard! I was gutted because we gave the barge ride a miss as I was already too cold!

Laur's princess:

I am hoping to try sweet tomatoes when it opens at crossroads as we will be able to walk from Saratoga Springs

I love Islands of Adventure though I hate being cold and wet in Orlando doesn't seem right as you expect to be hot.
