To Visit or Not to Visit that is the question

Hello all,

A bit of back ground..... We have a trip booked to Orlando from 20th of May through to 2nd June. We are a family of 5 with 2 boys who will be 3 and 5 and a girl turning 1 the day we arrive. We are staying in a house in Kissimee.

I really want a visit to see the Harry Potter stuff but am unsure if it is worth all the extra expense, when the kids may not get a whole lot out of the parks.

I have looked at renting a room at the Hard Rock Hotel for 29th of May and including tax etc it comes to about $300 then adding on the tickets ($430)

Is it going to be really busy on that Sunday and Monday?

I guess I am just looking for some views, obviously on this part of the boards you are all big fans, so don't be too hard on me if I decide against it

Cullen is 42 inches and Seth 38 inches (although he doesn't like dark stuff too much)

If you're huge HP fans then I would say definitely visit IOA but remember...there is more to IOA than just HP. Make sure you plan to do the rest of the park too. As surprising as that sounds, some people only want to do HP and nothing else. If that's the case I would say save your money until you're ready to explore everything at Universal.

Thank you, I certainly would be visiting the rest of the park if we go. To be honest if it wasn't for the harry potter world I probably wouldn't be considering it quite as much as I am. Only really though due to the height restrictions on a lot of the rides. They are all rides I would love, but the kids are just a bit little to hit most of them.

Might require another trip planned when they are tall enough for everything.
