She didnt state the childrens weight but I know my six year old and sometimes 8 year old still jump in our umbrella stroller (I really wasnt to aware of any weight limit).

That being said, I still say no to the original question. Bringing a stroller with the sole purpose of using it as a shopping cart to carry things, not children, is wrong.
All strollers do have a weight limit, umbrella strollers have a lot less weight carrying ability than the regular stroller.
