To Those That Spiral Bind Autograph Books

I am wondering the same thing. I checked with Staples and they gave me a thickness limit of 1". I actualyl broke my autograph book into (2) books. One has random characters, the other is character meals.

The answer about can you get more than 100 pages is yes. All the store needs to do is punch several groups. There are spiral binding material that goes up to 2".
I currently have over 100 cards in each of the autograph books I made and had them punched at Officemax with no problem.

Hope this helps.

Thank You so much! That is the answer I wanted!:cool1:

I went to the Staples today and had my books spiraled. Had to divide into two as my granddaughters had too many pages. I measured them before I left and I was just under 1". But the largest spiral they had would not fit. So I made them a separate character meal book and added the blank pages to that. Just wanted to let you something that happened to me that I did not think of until it was too late. I answered all the girl's questions about my name and phone number, payment, etc. The only questions she asked me about the actual book was what color cover (front and back). I had to go into the store next door and was gone about 10 minutes. When I went back to see how she was doing, she showed me the first set that was done. She spiraled them on the side, not the top. I had left a top margin on my pages so the spiral would not go into the picture. It still looked ok but was not really what I had planned on. Didn't even think of it when she was asking me questions. When I questioned her about it later, she said they have done autograph books before and they always did them on the side.

I had 212 pages in our last book... I used 28 lb paper ( thicker than normal but not as thick as cardstock) and Kinkos was able to do the binding for me. The book worked out fine....we used a Disney World Pen and all was good!

Do you come up with a disign for each page or do you just decorate the cover of the book. I'm new to the whole autograph book thing. Just something else I might think I need;)

If you check Natalie's photobucket (the link is in the post above yours), you will see that she has designs for each character, as well as some generic blank pages. The only problem is that all of her designs are so cute that it's hard to choose! :rotfl: I think my books ended up having 130 pages apiece. :rolleyes1

I had mine the covers laminated and the whole book bound at Kinkos and mine were well over 100 pages.... It is a black spiral bind and it to WONDERFUL because the book "folds back on itself" so that you can hand the book over with just that one page showing.

Mine were a little smaller than 4x6 because I printed them 4 to a 8.5x11 sheet of the matte finish cheaper photo paper.....
