Just finished listening to the live show (wishing I could have been there) and Pete, your words were lovely and made me cry (into the sink since I was doing dishes at the time).
So many times you and the rest of the team have been thanked for your sense of humor, your candor, and your ability to "tell it like it is". I want to thank you for being human.
Whether it's Pete being up front about his demons, Kevin and John allowing us to share in their sorrows and challenges, Corey and Julie in their joy of Ferris and "baby-to-be" and of course, the loss of Bob, you have allowed us to be a part of that and I think that's what makes you all so "real" to me. It in a way is the back bone of the "feel" that the podcast and the forum has for me. I could listen to another podcast, or other shows, but there would not be the closeness, or the connection, that I feel to all of you. Those people would never be more then strangers.
I have caught myself often saying "I have a friend who...." but being reluctant to explain that the friend is someone I've never met and who essentially "lives inside my computer". Doesn't help either when I say I'm staying at "Kevin and John's house" when I'm in Florida next year
So thank you for being human....you'll never know some days how much it's helped.
Merry Christmas
