I've always liked disney but now I LOVE disney! I'm always looking for a reason to go and planning now. Do you think you become more obsessed and in love because you're constantly thinking about it and not really taking a break lol I feel like I'm turning mouse obsessed! 35 days till next Disney visit :)

Also when did you realize you loved disney, maybe a little more then 'you should'?

I had never been until last September. I love planning.... pretty much anything. So when we decided to take our family on our first trip I was ecstatic to have a project. :rotfl: Once we got there I fell in love. Like honest to goodness can't get enough lets move in love! Ever since we got home my oldest son and I are pretty much Disney obsessed. Now that we are planning our trip for September of this year I am back to be insane about resorts, dining, refurbs etc.

It all started with a day trip in 1992. Then in 1993 we stayed on-site and that's how my addiction got started and took over my life. Lucky for me, my whole family caught the Disney bug when I did.. It makes it so much easier to plan our vacation.

We're gonna be there in September too. What are the dates your gonna be there?

Do you know the dates that your going or are you waiting for the dates of MNSSHP dates to be released? We're going down September 8th - 20th.

Read the book "Mousejunkies". It's more common than you think.

I tend to liken it to Heroin. After that first high, you just want another hit. But then the next time you go, it's not quite as good, so you spend more to "top" your previous high.

It's dangerous...you should go seek help.

I totally agree!!!

We've been known to go sometimes 5-7 times a year just to get my fix..

I completely agree! I am so obsessed with Disney. I went twice as a kid and then had not been in 10 yrs. my cousin suggested we take a trip to Disney... And that was it! We went last may... And then went on the Disney fantasy/3nights in Disney getting to see everything Christmas! And we have a trip planned for this may... There's no place like Disney!

I grew up on all of the Disney films and I went there a few times during my childhood. I have always loved the movies and the music. My boyfriend and I took our first vacation together there in 2009 and fell in love with Disney. We actually went during Christmas and still loved it despite all the crowds. He had only been there once before. We went back for F&W the following year and that sealed the deal for us. Disney + gourmet food + wine is an adult disney geek's dream come true. My goal is to go for food and wine every year.

I LOVE to plan vacations and planning a disney trip is so much fun for me. I read all sorts of restaurant reviews, plan all the ADRs and touring plans. It is a much welcome distraction from my oh so boring job. My boyfriend just started a new job and its KILLING me that I can't book our annual October trip yet because he might not be able to take off .

We actually love Disney so much that we are planning to get married there next year! People really think we are crazy for loving Disney so much that we want to have our wedding there, but who cares. We are also looking into an Adventures by DIsney trip to Germany for our honeymoon (they are insanely expensive but I don't want to worry about anything on my honeymoon).

The sad part about being obsessed with Disney is that you compare that vacation to every other one....nothing can compare to the service and comfort we receive in Disney. We just got back from a Royal Carribbean cruise and wished we were in Disney the whole time. The service people were not as nice, the food was horrible and we didnt really feel at ease. The trip was a gift from my dad for graduating law school and passing the bar, but I would never pay for a trip like that myself. (hopefully next cruise is on DCL lol).

LOVE IT, :lmao:

My whole family always loved Disney, but when my son chose to do a speech for school on Disney World, specifically about Walt's life and the opening of Disneyland and then what lead to the opening of Disneyworld in 1971 ... that is when we really became Disney obsessed. It is awesome to know all the little tidbits about the Magic Kingdom -- there is so much more than meets they eye.

May 2011 was my first trip down to wdw and before we even got home I was thinking of returning. Within a week of that, we had a trip planned and were going back.

Since them I've returned to the world for a total of 9 trips! And became an Annual Passholder. Each trip gets more magical and awesome, and I love it more and more! There's always so many things to see and do that you may have missed and it's just such a happy magical place that is nothing like anything else!

Also! Add another one on here for Sept! My favorite time to go! Looks like our trip will be the 11 to the 19, with two MNSSHP!! They;re great!

Oh I remember watching when my son did his first report on Walt Disney... He was so proud of all his findings and after his report we when to Disney World, we couldn't get him to stop talkling while we were there..

We :drinking1 the pixiedust: magic koolaid in 1992......about to take our 24th trip in less than two weeks followed by trip number 25 in Aug. :dance3: We are just a bit obsessed!!! It is my fave place to go.....and I think about Disney A LOT. :thumbsup2

I went 3 times as a child. All such fond and distinct memories. When I was in college and spring break came up, it was Disney. First vacation with a boyfriend, it was Disney. And I didn't even plan that one! I remember saying, oh we'll just see what happens.

Since then I can't go a few months without wanting to plan a trip. The plan is a dec trip but currently plotting my way for a food and wine trip too
:)

You sound a lot like me. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about Disney.. My DH says I should to go into rehab.
We're leaving in just under 3 months for our 69th trip and we will be going back for our 70th trip in September. Just a little addicted.

Know the feeling... We're looking for trip 48 the end of May and then another trip 49 end of September.... We've been hooked since 1977 and nothing beats a trip to WDW
