We haven't hit all of them. From the Ones we have been to -

Slide - Kidani at WDW and VDH at DLR. Paddock pool slide at SSR also great.
Little Kids - Kidani hands down. Awesome splash pad.
Best for Big Kids - Kidani or Poly or VDH
Overall - Kidani is hard to beat. VDH has great pool vibe too. We also very much liked the HH area pool at OKW. The pool area and chairs at the Grand Cal are amazing. I can sleep on those pads at GC. I'm shocked they haven't taken those to other flagship resorts in the portfolio. The lava pool at the Poly was a good overall vibe/theme.
Value - OKW.
Worst - Hard to pick here. Haven't had any bad overall experiences. I'll call out a few things that are a concern. For some reason our magic bands never worked at the lava pool at Poly and I always had to "sneak" in. Riviera needs another hot tub. Almost every time we have tried to use them they have a lot of people in them. Overall I like the two pools at WL but the slide is meh.

Okay everyone. I didnt want to start a whole new thread for my question so here it goes. When we visited over te weekend I tried to gauge each pool and the amount of shade that is available but want to see others opinions on it.

What pools have the best option for shade from trees or amount of umbrellas?

From what I saw the Poly pool was virtually all sun and I saw very few umbrellas, but I was just looking from beyond the gates so maybe I am wrong.
WL pools appeared to have alot of shade and many umbrellas.
RIV didnt have much natural shade but it seems most chairs had umbrellas.
AKV had a fair amount of umbrellas and good amount of shade in the splash pad.
I forgot to see the BLT pool from the ground level
BWV decent amount of umbrellas from what I remember but we only visited at night so that may changed my view of it.

• Best slide - Paddock Pool SSR
• Best for little kids - Poly, that splash play area is really good
• Best for big kids - Stormalong Bay
• Best overall experience - Paddock pool
• Best bang for your points (maybe having access to more than 1 pool is a better value, (AKV, CCV and ?) - SSR, has two pools with slides, kids water play areas. Has a semi quiet pool in grandstand with a water aree for kids, and 1 fully quiet pool at Congress Park. Has a lower overall points chart vs say Poly and not as crazy crowded at any one pool since there are more options.
• Worst overall experience - BWV that pool just sucks.

All based on where I have stayed so far.

Updating after staying at boardwalk, got a new winner (loser?) for worst pool. Luna park pool is the WORST pool. Slide sucks (slow and too bumpy) and the pool itself is horrible. Kiddie pool is a joke as well.

It’s so bad I’d put blt pool above it.

My 10 yo take.. “it’s not super slow but if you lay on your back it’s real bumpy other than that it’s a pretty good slide”

To be fair he isnt hard to please

Updating after staying at boardwalk, got a new winner (loser?) for worst pool. Luna park pool is the WORST pool. Slide sucks (slow and too bumpy) and the pool itself is horrible. Kiddie pool is a joke as well.

Just knowing that they used to have a clown pool is enough to keep me away. Well, that plus the nanny chairs. I watch a lot of horror.

They are scary chairs that get moved around the resort. They might be in the lobby or they might be at the end of the hallway late at night.

There's supposed to be a total of 4. They get moved around by CMs/guests who are likely doing it to play pranks on each other. Since they got rid of the scary clown pool, maybe these will go someday, too. I actually can't believe that they are still there. I think they've been there since day one.
