...That is the question. ???

Several of my scrapbooking buddies have invested in the new QuicKutz system. I'm on the fence...they love it, absolutely love it...and all keep trying to talk me into it.

Like I said, I'm on the fence. It seems like a great tool, wonderful fonts and dies. I love alphabets, but get discouraged with stickers because of always running out of vowels. I went with a specific letter sticker for my cruise album that I'm currently working on, and I think I've bought 10 or 15 sticker pods of because I keep running out of "a's" and "e's".

I'm big on paper too, would rather use paper than stickers anyday.

So, I was wondering if any of you have invested in it yet...what you like and don't like...do you regret the purchase??? Or should I just get off the fence and get in the QuicKutz yard???

Thanks in advance.

Wellllll my first suggestion would be to smile very sweetly and ask your friends if you could try the QuicKutz system out :) Either go to their house and work a little, or borrow it for a day or two (if my memory serves me correctly, QuicKutz is handheld and easily transported?). This way you can try it for yourself and see how comfortable you feel with it!

I've never used the QuicKutz, but the fonts available are so adorable! However I will NOT be getting one because I'm still a poor college student and that is a LOT of money to me.

Gee, can't you just borrow your friends instead of investing in one yourself?...I know that is what I would probably do! LOL
Cheap person that I am! LOL

I love the fonts, but I stuck with Sizzix, it seemed quite a bit more afordable to me....I'd go with the other suggestions and try it out first and then make my decision.

I have both Sizzix and Quickutz. In fact, Quickutz was the first thing I bought with my Disney Visa, lol! I then panicked, and put a bunch of stuff on Ebay to have most of it paid down by the time the statement arrived.

I love the Quickutz for lettering. I like the fact that it does not take up nearly as much room as the Sizzix. I am keeping the Sizzix so I can still have acess to larger shapes. That's the one restriction of the Quickutz -- not really expandable to larger sizes.

I would try it, and see how you like it before you invest, because it is an investment!

Thanks for all the replies.

I'm going to our LSS scrapclub tomorrow night and will definitly borrow one of my friends to try out. I really like the alphabets and think I'd probably get a lot of use, but it is such an investment to make.

Well, still on the fence, but I'm sure once I've used it, I'll know whether or not I'll be getting in the yard.

Thanks

I don't have quickuts in my area so sizzix it is. I really like it . But what ever you decide wait for those cupons. no need to go broke on the big purchases.
