To Print Or Not To Print

I'm on my way to being done with planning my trip and in 17 not so short days I'll be on my trip.

I'm down to that point where I'm looking at my luggage, and backpacks and printing out various confirmation pages. Which brings me to the questions...
For early morning ADR's where the park isn't actually open yet do I NEED to have a printed confirmation still? Or can I just use the app on my phone?

Having said that...would it be a good idea to just print off my ADR confirmations and bring them along with me?

I've been before, but we didn't use the MDE app. It was way back in 2011 when I felt ok with leaving my phone in the room still and just traveling with a Keys to the Kingdom card.

I would just to be on the safe side. You never know when something weird might happen and you can't access the reservation with the app.

We usually just bring a list with our reservation numbers on it, and it is small enough that DH can keep it in his wallet, or we can keep it with our room keys. We have not had any issues in the past, but it doesn't hurt to have the reservation number along.

ADRs on my calendar. I'm carrying my phone anyway.

The important thing is to have your correct ADR number. I see CMs with sheets of paper at times verifying those.

I print them and take them with me on our trip only because I like to look at them while we are on our drive there. I print out a calendar of our days and what parks we are going to and I print out a few other things cause I like to revel in it while we are on our way LOL

We purchase our tickets through Undercover Tourist and as soon as I get them I make copies of them and put them in my little packet with all my other stuff.

But, what I do each morning or the night before each day at the parks is use my phone to take a picture of the printed paper of the ressie(s) for that day and I text it to my hubby so we both have a copy of where and when.

We take the tickets from Undercover and get hard card ones from Guest services and then I take pictures of them in case they get lost (with my phone).

I make 4x6 cards out with the date and how I made the reservation. I also make note of the confirmation # and the time of the reservation.. I also have a space to add time we were seated and how we were greeted:)

I take screen shots of my ressies and keep them as photos on my smart phone. I send them to DH too. Easier than paper. I do like the idea of 4x6 cards!

I print them and put one in the checked luggage and one in the carry-on. It's mainly for me to have while in the hotel and looking up the next day's plans :) I don't bring the confirmation # when I check in at the restaurant.

I print and take a photo but I'm just OCD, worked too hard to get those reservations not to have what I needed. Also need paper copies for my mother and her husband who couldn't use a smart phone if they had to :)

I agree with all the past posters. Having multiple copies and different forms will never ruin your fun. Not having the information and potentionally have something go wrong will. I print, take a pic and put it in the calendar of my phone. That way I stay organized and will have the information at my fingertips in any situation. We all work hard earning our dollars to pay for the trip and we spend countless hours obsessively planning to make the perfect vacation. Why take the chance? Enjoy your trip.:dance3:

PRINT! It's rare but things dingo wrong. I had a CM at Disney Store forget to activate my tickets once. Had to trek back to car with freaking out six year old but luckily had a copy of my receipt, if I hadn't, they said I would've just been out of luck.

I print a paper copy of MDE for each day and then save as a PDF and email it to myself so that I have it on my phone. I also take a picture of my tickets and PhotoPass card just in case they got lost.
