To old for Bibbiddi??

We saw an 'older girl' maybe 12 having her hair done there the other day. As a far as the dress is concerned, be aware that they may not let her into the parks wearing one as she is 'adult height' and adults are not allowed in the parks in fancy dress. It will completely depend on who is on the gate. I've seen young teens in princess dresses and I've seen kids my height (I'm 5' 1") turned away.

I would hope the CMs on the gate would recognise that she had a BBB hairdo etc and would realise she was young enough to be "allowed" to wear a princess dress in the parks. I saw some tall Tweens in them this year :)

It's in MK next to the pirates of the Caribbean ride. It's basically a pirate boutique where kids and adults get made up as pirates. There are costumes too as well as face makeup and sashes. My 11 year old daughter looked gorgeous at the end. It included shiny face stickers and pirate glitter! There are different 'looks' to choose from. She has never wanted to be a princess but she loved this and didn't feel too old. I had it done with her. We had a blast.

And unlike BBB there's no age limit on the Pirate's League.

The age limit must have been recent then because my daughter had it done in DTD when she was 15 and had her hair and make up done and loved it. Loads of little girls kept looking at her.

It is fun and it is a shame if they stop it at 12

It's been introduced in the last two years - I think it was to stop adults booking all the appointments.

Yep, which I think is unfair. Just because you're an adult doesn't mean you should be kept from doing something especially at Disney. If they were that worried about lack of available bookings they should have added a bigger BBB to the plans for the Fantasyland expansion.

Not like Disney to miss a trick. If women are wanting to have it done they should make plans to do it :)

Just wondered what your thoughts would be for this? Our DGD is just turned 11yrs old, she would like to do Bibbiddi boutique one more time, she's quite a lot bigger than her friends around 5'2" and a size 6 shoe, do you think she would be to old/big to go?

Especially as she is within the age limit, then I certainly would allow her to be pampered at the BBB. It's something that she wants, and isn't WDW to help all your dreams come true?

Enjoy! Karenpixiedust:
