To my fellow Veterans, Bravo Zulu

Thanks for posting. Without a bunch of veterans, many of them gone, our cruises might be armed landings from Higgins boats or rock & roll transport on a troop ship (sailed on one of the last ones for 8 days from NYC to Bremerhaven in 1959...anything but a pleasure cruise) to some foreign country. Truly a day to remember!!

Thanks to all our veterans for their service.🇺🇲

Can one of you explain the Bravo Zulu and Tango Mike?

You're welcome! Tango Mike is pretty straightforward. First word begins with "T" and the second begins with "M"...it means "Thanks Much" and soldiers would say that over the radio when talking to one another when the situation doesn't require a lot of formality.

I had to google Bravo Zulu and it means "Job Well Done" but the explanation was about as complicated as Naval rank insignia. 😉

Funny I always said the same about Army ranks. :)

I set that up JUST so that a Navy vet would knock it down. :thumbsup2

Hope you had a great Veteran's Day!

Thanks for the explanation, Hegemon..
