Nikki, we don't know each other but I have seen some of your posts. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and to your family. I agree with a PP post...it's been a rough year for many of us. All we can do, is keep our chins up and look ahead. I go by the saying, that when God closes a door, he opens a window....but sometimes, you need to learn to live in the hallway. Things will get better, just give it some time. Again, my prayers are with you.

Nikki, I am sorry to hear all you have been dealing with. Please feel you can come here and vent anytime you need to. Life does have a way of handing us things that are tough to deal with but friends can help.

Nikki, I'm sending you lots of positive thoughts and prayers. I know this doesn't help much right now, but it's the toughest times that help us become better, stronger people.

We had to make that difficult decision with beloved Sasha (she was 14) several years ago, so I know how heart breaking that is. At this point, although I'm sad she's no longer with us, thinking of her brings a smile to my face. She was a wonderful, fun part of our family and we have many good memories of her.

You and I have had some words....not bad ones....but we've disagreed over things and got over it. Now..I feel like we're friends!! Just look at this situation as an argument!! It sucks right now, but in the end you'll win and things will be all better again!!!!

I really feel for you and I don't think anyone ever said that you're being melodramatic on here...at least that I didn't see. If you're an emtional person, be emtional!! I'm learning slowly that sometimes it's ok to be you and not have every single person like you...not everyone will. But...everyone on here LOOOOVES you, so you have nothing to worry about!!!

I was so emotional reading your post and those that responded, that it's taken me awhile to compose myself and send my thoughts and prayers your way.

I hope your health issues are remedied soon.

And don't give a second thought to those who don't understand how heart wrenching it is when a beloved pet passes away. The mark of a good person is measured by how much they care for others and "others" don't only have two legs...
