ACK I thought I was done with my ADRs lol

I'm looking at some options for our DHS day. There is an 8 am seating for H&V. We already have 50s PT at 1:40 and Cape May at 7 pm. I'm thinking that's a lot to eat, but I'd like to get into the park before RD. This trip isn't a commando type deal and we are going the first week of December so I'm hoping it's not crazy busy. However, I like the idea of getting in there early!! So what do you think....am I crazy?

We love getting into the parks early. So worth the time. Now that Jedi Training is 1st come 1st serve, our plan is to have DH and DS go line up while I go to Toy Story for FPs. Last time we did this, we were the 1st riders on Toy Story, so I totally think it's worth it.
You could try bumping your reservations by an hour if you can, but otherwise you can just eat a light meal at breakfast and not worry about it.

My family did H&V for breakfast last year and it was honestly the worst meal I've ever had at Disney World. The character interaction was the pits, the food was nothing great and the selection was pitiful. I'd skip the breakfast and plan to get to the park early and do the dash with everyone else.

I have to agree with the PP. We've been to H&V three times - twice for breakfast and once for lunch and the food was gross every time. Like the OP, I love to get to the parks early so what you have to decide is if the slightly early entry is worth the cost you'll pay for the meal.

If you get to RD early enough to be at the front of the group then you don't gain anything with an early ADR because of where the CMs hold you when you leave the restaurant. If you aren't early enough to be in the front of the RD group then you would have an advantage to already being in the park because early diners get to merge with the front to the RD crowd. Make sense?

Makes perfect sense. I haven't heard much good about it, and I have no idea who these characters are-no kids and as much as I love the Disney channel and so on....yeah I don't watch Playhouse Disney.

we were just there in May...food was just OK (and selection was way worse than Crystal Palace breakfast.) Juice was served warm...and waitress says "it's always warm first thing in the morning, gosh would you like some ice?" Well, duh...if you KNOW it's warm every morning, why don't you just serve it iced? Service was the worst we've ever had at a Disney restaurant...and it took forever to get settled up. To the point that we had NO advantage at all from having gotten to the park at 7:45...when we finally got out of the restaurant at 8:50, the crowds at the ropes were already 10-15 people deep. DH just barely managed to get himself near the front of the pack with very fast walking once they dropped the ropes...but we started with far worse "rope placement" than if we just showed up 30 min. before rope drop.
