Ok! Well my friend, Morgan, called me up on night and was like, "Do you want to go to Disney World with us over Spring Break?" And of course how could I pass it up (especially since it only cost me $375). Morgan's mom is a coach of a local high school cheerleading squad and they go down every other year and perform. To make everything better, my high school's marching band was performing in a parade, so they (including my baby sister) were there also. (This was in 2002.)
Well getting everything ready for me to go was a big hassel. I was flying in place of another girl, who decided not to go. Since, plane ticket can't be transferred, I had to pretend to be this girl, which wasn't too hard.
Well, the night before we left, Morgan picks me up and we stay at her boyfriend's apartment. We wake up at 4:00 am to get to the high school and to drive up with the rest of the gang. We get to the airport at about 7:30 am or so (pretty wierd since the airport is only about an hour and half away from where we live) and our plane didn't take off until 11 something. So for the time you have about 35 cheerleaders all sitting around being goof balls. Well I got stuck in the front of coach and didn't know anyone, so the Coach (Cheri) introduced me to a few other girls who were sitting up there, Crystal and Sabrina.
Well Sabrina never flew before so she was scared! I tried to calm her down, I hope I helped. We got to the hotel around 5ish. All Star Movies. Some of the families who drove down where already there. We got to stay in Herby! (Isn't that the part of the hotel you want to stay at for peace and quiet?) Anyways, Sabrina ended up staying in the same room as Morgan, Cheri, and I.
The first day we went to Magic Kingdom. Morgan and I went straight to the Haunted Mansion. Didn't have to wait!
After we headed to Splash Moutain, which we sat in the front and got quite wet. Morgan's mascara got all over her sunglasses and she whiped them off on her shirt and got her shirt all dirty! She rolled it up, thank god she's skinny! Anyways, we went on Big Thunder Mountain next. We got lunch, then headed over to Space Mountain. We were only in line for about 30 minutes or so, with out a fast pass. We got a fast pass to Winnie the Pooh and layed in the sun and tanned (not that I got any color) until it was time. I think we went on Snow White after that and It's a Small World. We also went on Pirates of the Caribbean.
We headed back to the hotel for some tanning. Then went to MGM. We went on Tower of Terror first. I should have known it was gonna happen, but I got sick (I think the up and down, up and down is what gets me). And then headed to Rock'n'Roller Coaster. We had a LONG wait there, but so did the fast passers. The ride was having some technical difficulties. After that I really felt bad, and it was late, so we headed back to the hotel.
