To link or not to link...

that is the question.


Our family will be travelling to Disney in June, staying off-site and have ADRs. We had been talking about going with another family so I had ADRs set up under my name with ADRs just for our family and another set of ADRs set up in a different account under my DH's name. I was afraid to link our tickets to either account because I was unsure if I would be able to remove them. Not to mention until recently, there really hasn't been any benefit in having them link. We now know that the other family will not be travelling with us so is there any reason that I shouldn't link our UCT tickets to the account with the ADRs that we are going to keep??

We are also considering a throwaway room. Please no debate about whether this is a right thing to do our not.

I am not an expert here - especially since my experience with linking and MBs and MDE are as an on-site. guest The main benefit I can see based on a few posts I read is that there seems to be a chance you may be able to select your FP+ rides before you arrive as an off-sire guest. I think I saw a post where someone said they were able to make their FP+ a week before they left and another post about maybe allowing offsite guests to pick FP+ 30 days before arrival. Again, I'm not 100% sure about this, but I see you may have a benefit with FP+ if you link your tickets and I can't think of any con why you shouldn't unless if it messes up you throwaway room link...not sure of that at all.

Maybe there really isn't any reason that I should link our tickets but yet I am still holding back.
