To keep or not to keep ROL FP?

Heading down this Sunday, and we will be in AK all day Monday. I was fortunate to book a FP for ROL for that night, but now at the last minute I am having second thoughts about even wanting to go see it. With the mixed reviews, I'm not as excited as I initially was to see it. Plus the thought of not being able to get any other FPs other than that and the other 2 I have for the whole day makes me a little nervous. We are adrenaline junkies (it's only myself and my BF) and could ride Everest over and over and not get tired of it. We also loved riding it last September at night, which we probably would not get to do if we go to ROL. Should I keep the FP and go see ROL? Or should I switch it to something else, and maybe catch a glimpse of the show somewhere outside of the stadium, and then have the ability to try to get more FPs throughout the day? What would you do? Literally last minute changes make me nervous lol! Thanks!

If you know for sure that you aren't going to want to sit and watch RoL, there's no point in keeping the FP for it.

What about getting a ROL dining package instead of FP? If there are still any available that is.

I would say wait til you get there and see how the day shapes up. You might not need additional FP+ or you may and at the time, you could change your FP to suit your needs. We opted to the dining package because we want to see it and don't want to tie up FP all day. Good Luck.

I can understand your thoughts. Our next trip is not until November and all along had been planning a FP for ROL. I finally watched a video the other night and I don't think I'm going to use one for it. I was so hopeful for a little more out of the show and was disappointed in it. I'm hoping it will be more impressive when I do watch it, but think I will not go the FP route.

I was at AK this past Monday in the afternoon & evening. EE was a walk on (SR unavailable for some reason) after dark. I was able to go on twice in a row just before my FP for RoL & it was convenient since the FP entrance for RoL is across from EE. I had a FP made for Dinosaur which I did not need at all since that was walk on also about 5pm. I did need the FP for Safaris though which worked out very well at 7:30. Not sure if the crowds at AK this Monday will be similar but just wanted to let you know about my experience.
