To hot to pump fuel

I know this will sound crazy. But its been so hot here lately that the fuel pump on our trailer will only pump fuel in the in the evening or at night. During the the day all it will do is buzz and if you keep trying to pump it blows the fuse. but once it cools down no problem.

its hot here now, mid 80's and 100% humidity, cant Y'all keep it down there ?

not surprised on the pump, they need to stay cool to work well, thats why most are inside the fuel tank on modern vehicles (but I guess you know that) :cool2:

Yeah my dad told me that DC motors don't like alot of heat. Its just annoying though. I use the fuel station for everything around the house lawn mower, weed eater, golf carts, chain saw. Now I have to feel up at night what a pain. Sorry your weather is starting to suck. But as they say on the Gulf Coast just wait 5 minutes it will change.(however its been hot and dry here for 2 months)
