Just curious-how long does anyone think the ability to get "to go" orders at some TS restaurants-like Sanaa, Ale and Compass, Kona, etc. will continue? Does anyone think it might become a permanent thing at some of these restaurants? I think it's such a great idea! On my last trip it saved me so much money on food (Don't tell Disney-they want the average guest to pay more, not less, it seems). But I'd take the food back to my room, pop any leftovers into the fridge, then heat them up the next day.

I think it will stay in place for a good while, so long as the kitchens can handle it. At my local Cracker Barrel, I think they do more take-out than dine-in.

I hope it's permanent. We stayed at YC in mid-June and the ability to mobile order from A&C was so, so convenient. We did several mobile order breakfasts and dinners from A&C and the food was so good and it was so convenient. I wish more restaurants would do it. There were nights when I simply couldn't get an ADR or we were too tired to go back out to eat. The A&C TS and BC/YC QS mobile order just made meals so much easier. We are staying at VGF in October and I'm already hoping to mobile order from Kona. I wish more of the casual TS would do this. I would think it would actually boost revenue as they can sell more food without providing more tables or hiring a lot of more staff at the restaurants that offer the service.

Are there a list of the TS to go restaurants?

If you go to the mobile order section of the MDE app on your phone, you will see all QS and TS restaurants that offer mobile order.

I think more convenient to-go orders is going to be one aspect of life that sticks around post-pandemic - and not just at Disney. And if you think about it, it's win-win for the restaurant - no longer being limited by the number of people who can fit in the space, handling more orders with the same or smaller wait staff, etc. Up until the point where the kitchen can't handle it and to-go orders gum up the system for the in-person diners.

Personally, we went and got carry-out from Sanaa a couple different evenings when we wouldn't ordinarily have gone to the restaurant itself (since it was too dark to see the wildlife and too crowded for our comfort level). We were staying at CSR and also did carry-out at Three Bridges and Rix, both of which would fall under the 'casual TS' label I think. I just wished Rix would use mobile ordering, because otherwise I had to sit there for like 15-20 minutes with nothing to do.

Thanks, everyone. I'd be interested in what you got from A&C. I'm staying at BCV, and was planning to get "to-go" from A&C a couple of times. Last month I was at Kidani and I got "to-go" from Sanaa almost every night (on the other nights I ate left-overs from my "to-go" orders).

I really do hope it will stay in place for a while. Being able to grab our food and eat outside was such a pleasure.

Oh, and also... Capt. Cook's at the Polynesian does not offer the strawberry sauce with their Tonga Toast, however, Kona Cafe does. So we ordered to-go from Kona Cafe and ate outside on the deck.

For breakfast, my DS got the American breakfast and the smoked salmon bagel while I ordered the kids' scrambled egg with fruit and broccolini which was enough for me. For dinner, we had the rolls, Ale & Compass salads, chicken flatbread (these were pretty big), Angus strip steak, the short ribs (these were excellent), the half chicken and the pappardelle pasta. We also ordered the chocolate cake and cobbler (this was over the course of several nights!). Everything was very good and the portions were quite large.

Oh! This is good to know, thank you! We are staying at VGF in about a month and we were planning on doing Kona take-out - nice to know there is a place to sit outside!
