To Earl of Sandwich or not to Earl?

We also decided to give the Earl and try a couple of weeks ago. There were so many choices we just went with the Earl Club each and a side of potato salad. We thought they were delicious and DH wasn't sure at first about the sandwiches all being warm!

We are looking forward to returning on our next trip and trying a different sandwich, now that we know what they are like. I'm definitely going to do some research before I go though, so I'll know which one to try next!

Love EOS! I think we ate there 3 times last trip. It is so reasonably priced and delicious. Love their potato salad.

A few weeks ago, we had the daily special which was a fantastic shrimp salad sandwich!

My wife & I went to Earl of Sandwich mid day during our last trip. (Mid October). There was a line to get onto the lines. And that line was doubled back on itself and almost out the door. Ate at McD. Will try again next trip.

Very true! On our last visit we were lucky, the line wasn't long and we really enjoyed our shrimp salad sandwiches. But, later in the day we passed by again and the line was extremely long. And on our 3 trips before that, the line was always way too long for us and we also went to McDonalds each time.

Problem is, the line usually rivals that of Toy Story Mania!

Actually, that's probably a good thing or I'd be there for lunch every day...the crowds save me from myself calorie-wise. But I do have to have an EoS fix on a regular basis. The Frenchy, the turkey sub, and the tomato/mozerella ones are to die for, and the chocolate pudding is soooo yummy.

I started to read this thread and soon came to a post by.....ME! Huh? Kind of fun to realize that this thread started in 2005! Since post 3 years ago, I've been to Earl of Sandwich a few more times. I've now also tried the All American. Yum! I have lots more to try, but I keep coming back to the Earl of Club and now the All American. :)
