Must I be so forward?
Earl of Sandwich restaurant at Downtown Disney Marketplace is without a doubt a great choice to eat at.Not only is the food exceptionally good, with many sandwiches to pick from, but it is very inexpensive as well. All sandwiches are $5.00 a piece and they WILL fill you up.This was our second year eating there and both times I got the sandwich called the Montegue.Maybe I'll try a different one next year. There are also small orders of sides to go along with the sandwich.Ranging from salads to slaws etc.Chips are also available. If I compared the sandwiches at this place to sandwiches at Subway and Blimpie, and even Larry's Subs,Earl of Sandwich would win everytime, hands down.If you haven't tried this place at Disney, don't sell it short, just because sandwiches are the main course;but try a new experience that your mouth will thank you for. :cloud9:

I Agree....

It's a great value and our family now eats there numerous times during our trips to WDW.

My favorite is the Hawaiian. :goodvibes

I completely agree with you! We ate there in October and loved it. My favorite is the Caprese. YUM! Tomatoes, mozzarella, basil and olive oil. :goodvibes

I had a great sandwich there last month, the beef and blue.

I am psyched! We've never tried the Earl of Sandwich but we are stopping there for our first "Disney meal" on our upcoming trip while we are at DisneyQuest. I hope to bring a few back to our room to keep in the fridge. Can't wait!

We ate at the Earl back in August. I have to say, I had sandwich envy. My DS had the chicken florentine, and our friend Ang had the jerk chicken. I ordered the tom, basil, and mozerella. It was good but nothing compared to the other two. Next time I will know to order something as good as what the others had.

Yes, EoS is a great place to eat in DTD. I like the Hawaiian and Canonballs! DH got a salad last time and it was huge! Made right there just for him.

Definitely worth taking a sandwich home to the fridge!

I agree, i ate there for the first time a couple weeks ago and we all loved it, including the kids! (they got the roast beef and cheese!) :cool1:

My mouth is watering just thinking about that place!! I've only ever tried the Earl of Club sandwich, and it was excellent. I need to try something different next time. :goodvibes

This is one of our favorite places to eat at WDW. Not only are the sandwiches great, but the salads... YUM! My DD thinks that the kid's grilled cheese is the best sandwich that she has ever had and she drools just thinking about it.

hi
yes another vote for the beef and blue :cool1: we eat there several times in a visit, it persuades my dh that looking round the shops is a good idea :guilty:

I had the chicken florentine last visit, and it was great. Inexpensive and healthy lunch. Loved it!

Without a doubt, I had the best Tuna Melt in the world!!!
Can't wait til May to get another!!!! :earsgirl:

Cool, the past couple trips we haven't made it over to DTD since we had AP and why go to DTD when you could be in a park?

Anyway this next trip we are staying at SSR (still have the AP,) so we will be close.

I see at least one if not more trips in our future.

For allergy reasons my DD and I have to eat Dairy and Egg free. I hope they will be able to accomdate us (mostly that means know what actually is in the food, bread, meat sauces ect..) So many places have no idea!

My parents took my kids and evacuated from Hurricane Wilma to WdW last month. I told my mom to try Earl of Sandwich for an inexpensive meal with the kids. We, in all our MANY trips to WDW have never tried this place but the disboard members raved about it. My mom (not knowing was the heck "disboard members" meant) was not that thrilled with the idea but decided to give it a try. She called me up and said that this restaurant was amazing! She loved it and said that it was the best sandwich she had ever had. I can't wait to try for myself in December! By the way, my mom had the sandwich with brie cheese, I think.
