"To Disney & Beyond" ~ Road Trip 2010 ~ Final Drive & Final Thoughts

I saw your first picture, and before reading, I thought that Chris could work at AK! I hope to see Devine when we are there! We have never seen her before. I guess I need to take my time and look around since I don't want to miss her :lmao:

Beautiful pictures of Animal Kingdom! I love this park! Devine is so cool. I totally agree about her movements. Our trip in June was my first time to see her and I was in awe!

Haha, I love Chris's outfit! I'd totally buy that he worked at AK!!
The look of peoples' faces when they see DeVine move was the first time is just incredible-- they're just in so disbelief! I love it. (Although, when I look at pictures of her, I always think to myself-- it must take her an hour to get all of that make up off!!

Love the AK update!!! You got a ton of great pictures of the two of you! I liked both of your outfits too! My mom bought a similar top for her trip & planned to wear it to AK...I think it was just like yours but the collar was orange with brown trim. :goodvibes

I loved your pictures of the animals on the safari!!! What kind of camera do you have? I :lovestruc photography!!!

That is awesome that you walked on so many rides!!! So glad the crowds were low for you guys! Its much easier to enjoy the park that way!

Can't wait to read more!!!

I have never seen Devine either!!! I literally search & search for her every trip (well the last two trips anyway!) but I can't ever find her. Her make-up is beautiful, I absolutely love the colors! I hope I can find her next trip, it would be great to see her in person!

Too funny that "Safari Boy" themed his outfit for the Animal Kingdom!

Hurray for no crowds! That's always a nice way to start the day! Hope it continued to be like that!

Oh, there is no doubt the lioness is awake -- the very fact that her head is up is something I am not used to seeing. :lmao:

Your picture as Yetis is hilarious! :rotfl2:

Two great updates. Love the pictures. Your drawings are very good. I can't draw at all but my husband is an excellent artist. Chris looks like he could work at AK. Your outfit fits right in too.

Safari Boy :lmao:

How exciting that you actually got to see the lioness awake! That's very rare to see her with her head raised, usually she's just sleeping the day away - what a life!

Your pictures of Devine are fabulous!

Fun update! Chris does look like he works there! lol

Great pics of Devine! I've never seen her that close!

I'm jealous....I would love to see Devine! you got such great pics of her!

It looks like you had a really good safari. I love going first thing when the animals are so active :)

Your AK pics came out great!! I need whatever camera you guys use!! I am so jealous I have never spotted Devine or the lions out on safari. I do know where you are talking about in DHS for The Cars...so I cant wait to check them out in just 2 weeks!!! I am so excited :goodvibes

Yep, he just needs a tag that says his name and where he is from. :thumbsup2

And maybe a lanyard full of pins for trading. :)

Love the safari pictures. ::yes::

I saw your first picture, and before reading, I thought that Chris could work at AK!
I didn't even think much about the clothes he was wearing until one of the other guests pointed it out.......I couldn't stop laughing after that!

I hope to see Devine when we are there! We have never seen her before. I guess I need to take my time and look around since I don't want to miss her :lmao:
She is so cool!!! Look for her on the trail between Flights of Wonder and Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Africa. That's where we saw her! :thumbsup2

Beautiful pictures of Animal Kingdom! I love this park!
Thanks so much! :flower3: I love this park too...I always feel like I take so many pictures at AK because of all of the animals!

Devine is so cool. I totally agree about her movements. Our trip in June was my first time to see her and I was in awe!
I was in complete awe too........she is just so graceful and her movements were spot on! :goodvibes

Haha, I love Chris's outfit! I'd totally buy that he worked at AK!!
Isn't it funny!!! After the other guest mentioned that Chris looked like he worked at AK, I really started checking out the CMs who really did work there...Chris's outfit was not that far off!

The look of peoples' faces when they see DeVine move was the first time is just incredible-- they're just in so disbelief! I love it. (Although, when I look at pictures of her, I always think to myself-- it must take her an hour to get all of that make up off!!
I don't know what was more fun...seeing DeVine or people watching as they spotted (or didn't spot) her! :rotfl2: Wow...that makeup...you're right! It must take FOREVER to get that off!

Love the AK update!!! You got a ton of great pictures of the two of you!
Thanks so much! :flower3:

I liked both of your outfits too! My mom bought a similar top for her trip & planned to wear it to AK...I think it was just like yours but the collar was orange with brown trim. :goodvibes
Thank you and that's very cool! I found the top shortly before our trip and I thought it was a good "fit" for AK! :thumbsup2

I loved your pictures of the animals on the safari!!! What kind of camera do you have? I :lovestruc photography!!!
Thank you!!! :goodvibes I use a Nikon D80 DSLR.

That is awesome that you walked on so many rides!!! So glad the crowds were low for you guys! Its much easier to enjoy the park that way!
I agree completely! I was shocked at how low the crowds seemed to be during the summer...maybe we just got lucky with the parks we chose on particular days? I don't know...it was so nice though! :thumbsup2

Can't wait to read more!!!
I should be able to get another update on here by this weekend! :woohoo:

I have never seen Devine either!!! I literally search & search for her every trip (well the last two trips anyway!) but I can't ever find her. Her make-up is beautiful, I absolutely love the colors! I hope I can find her next trip, it would be great to see her in person!
Check out the trail between Flights of Wonder and Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Africa. That was where we saw her!!! :goodvibes It is definitely worth seeing her in person...I was in complete awe!

Too funny that "Safari Boy" themed his outfit for the Animal Kingdom!
I KNOW!!! I couldn't stop laughing! Once the other guest mentioned that Chris could fit right in with the other CMs and after seeing their actual outfits....it was all over for Chris!:lmao:

Hurray for no crowds! That's always a nice way to start the day! Hope it continued to be like that!
I was actually quite shocked! I expected the crowds to be so much bigger in the summertime. Maybe they seemed smaller because we're used to going during NYE...I don't know? It was so nice though! :goodvibes

Oh, there is no doubt the lioness is awake -- the very fact that her head is up is something I am not used to seeing. :lmao:
I was SHOCKED!!!!! She ALWAYS seems to be sleeping so I had to take the picture just to prove that she does wake up, even if it's just for a "small portion" of the day!

Your picture as Yetis is hilarious! :rotfl2:
Thanks! Chris used to roll his eyes anytime I mentioned doing any kind of a "strange pose" for a picture...I love how he just "goes with it" now! :rotfl:

Two great updates. Love the pictures.
Thanks so much, Cheryl! :flower3:

Your drawings are very good. I can't draw at all but my husband is an excellent artist.
Thank you...we tried our best! Goofy was tough to draw! It always amazes me to watch an artist at work...it would be so cool to have that talent! :goodvibes

Chris looks like he could work at AK. Your outfit fits right in too.
I know...I was shocked at how well his clothes fit in so well with the AK CMs! Thanks! I found the top right before our trip and I thought it might be a good "fit" for AK!

Safari Boy :lmao:
I KNOW!!! I really couldn't stop laughing...Chris just kept looking at me and rolling his eyes and I just found it that much funnier! :rotfl2:

How exciting that you actually got to see the lioness awake! That's very rare to see her with her head raised, usually she's just sleeping the day away - what a life!
I was so surprised to see that she was awake...I think I did a double-take because I wasn't really believing that she was "up." Then, I quickly got the camera ready to snap a pic just for proof that she doesn't sleep the "entire" day away!

Your pictures of Devine are fabulous!
Thanks so much, Michelle! :flower3:

Fun update! Chris does look like he works there! lol
Thanks! :goodvibes Doesn't he? I don't think he could have had a more perfect outfit to wear!!!

Great pics of Devine! I've never seen her that close!
Thank you so much! :flower3: She was simply amazing...we watched her for a good 5 minutes or so. I was blown away by her movements...and her makeup? Wow!

I'm jealous....I would love to see Devine! you got such great pics of her!
Thanks! :flower3: She was amazing to see in person! Her movements were just spectacular and so graceful!

It looks like you had a really good safari. I love going first thing when the animals are so active :)
It was a great safari...I loved seeing all of the animals out and about and it was fun to see so many of the babies! :goodvibes

Your AK pics came out great!! I need whatever camera you guys use!!
Thanks so much, Shannon! :flower3: It's a Nikon D80 DSLR if you're interested! ;)

I am so jealous I have never spotted Devine or the lions out on safari.
Look for Devine on the trail between Flights of Wonder and Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Africa...that's where we spotted her! :thumbsup2 As for the lions...that's a tough one because they usually tend to be sleeping and are very hard to spot since they're usually laying down.

I do know where you are talking about in DHS for The Cars...so I cant wait to check them out in just 2 weeks!!! I am so excited :goodvibes
I'm glad!!! 2 weeks...WOW!!! I'm so jealous...wish I was heading back too!

Yep, he just needs a tag that says his name and where he is from. :thumbsup2
Hummmmmm...I could work on that! :rotfl:

And maybe a lanyard full of pins for trading. :)
And I could definitely work on that! :rotfl2:

Love the safari pictures. ::yes::
Thank you so much, MeMom! :flower3:

Lynn, those are the most beautiful pictures of Devine that I have ever seen!

We've never seen her in the park. I get so wrapped up in my kids and want they want to do that I sometimes forget about what I want to do or see ~ Devine falls into that category. I always forget to look for her!

Love the EE pics ~ especially your scary Yeti impersonations! :rotfl:

Your close up shots of Devine are AMAZING! :thumbsup2

What a great morning! :goodvibes

What fantastic safari pics. I have never even gotten a picture of the lions with their heads up much less awake.
