To CRT or not to CRT?

We will be travelling to WDW in November for our annual birthday trip. My youngest DS is very much into Snow White and would love to have breakfast with her. For my birthday, I was thinking about trying to get reservations for CRT. We are staying at the Poly in the LVC so I thought maybe they would have a better chance of booking it for me.

My only question is this: is it worth it? I have heard good things about the food, bad things about the food, problems with characters not spending enough time, etc. I am not a big breakfast person but I thought that the healthy choice might be o.k. for me. Has anyone had problems with this? My youngest DS just turned 3 and I know that he would love to see Snow White. However, I would hate to get him all excited and then we show up and we barely get to see her. Can I get some honest opinions on this? I am not worried about the cost but about the amount of interaction. If someone has a better idea where we would get to see Snow White, I would love to hear it. Thanks in advance, everyone! I know that I can trust all of you to steer me in the right direction.

My personal recommendation on this is NO. He can see and get an autograph and picture with Snow White in the parks.

The food is just "okay" here and the character interaction does tend to be rushed because they want to get as many people in and out as possible (because of how small the restaurant is.)

I say save the $19.99 (especially if you are getting the healty option) and visit with Snow White elsewhere.

Personally, I love CRT, but I think it is more my own fascination with the castle, lol. :D

Keep in mind, too, that although Snow White is usually there, there are no promises that she will be there when you do go. She has been there the last two times we were there, though.

For us the food was pretty good. DD is 7 and she did not eat much at all because she was too worried about watching everything else. We have never felt rushed at CRT.

I think everyone needs to do it at least once, so if you have the time, the money and are able to get a PS, I'd try it. :D

Here is a pic of DD and Snow White, who is awesome!

We love having breakfast with the Princesses at CRT! Nothing beats the atmosphere and location and I've never felt rushed. The food is not that bad. The stuffed pastry and potatos are yummy!

I think your children are at a perfect age and you will love it. When concierge books your PS, the CMs will seat you near the beautiful windows or as close as possible. You can look out onto the park.

It's a must do for us when we go. It's our girls only breakfast. My niece actually turned four last Dec when we went there. Definitly let them know it's your birthday when you do the PS ifyou go. We like the food. It's not bad at all and the blueberry muffins are awesome. It is preplated but everytime we have gone it was hot and good. If you have a child that will talk to the princesses and not be fearful then they will spend more time with you. My niece is a drama queen at four so she just kept talking to them and they listened and stayed a little longer. Her favorite was Snow White and Cinderella. They were the nicest. I think the castle also makes it more magical in my opinion.

i would go-

we were at CRT last year for the first time. we liked it, there were alot of princesses there when we were, and we got autographs from them all, Cinderella, snow white, mary poppins, sleeping beauty, and belle. godmother was in lobby.
they all came by us and got a photo with our kids and we really liked the food.
we are going back ( IF i can get lucky with PS again) and my little one who was only 3 when we went,( will be 5 when we go again)
has already put her request in for " Cinderellas world" - she wants to eat at the castle :)

now, NO i am not excited at all myelf ....:earseek: :hyper: that is one of the things i am looking forward to also :)

I love eating in the castle. I have always been pleased with their food & service.
We have eaten here twice.

If you are going just to see Snow White, I would not go. SHe is not always there, infact of the times we went she was not there.
Just be aware of that.

WE had breakfast at CRT when DDs #1 & 2 were young...now it is our 3 year olds turn! We too are staying Poly Concierge, and they had no problem securing a PS for the morning we requested! I even bought a Cinderella dress for DD to wear! I definitely think it is worth the money! I just love that Cheese Danish french Toast!! I say go for it!!!

We have 3 DD's and we have gone every year since my oldest was 4 and she is 8 now. We love the atmosphere of the castle and we have some of the best pics of our girls with the Princesses. My 3 year old is really into the Princesses so I hope to snag a PS for our December trip. Since we are now DVC members this will be the first year I will be calling for the PS myself, we usually stayed Concierge and had them make the PS.

I do not love or hate CRT. We have gone twice and both times the place was packed. The princesses spent ample time with my kids. My DS didn't want to interact with them, but they tried their best. It is a hectic atmosphere, but the nice thing is they bring the food to you, rather than you having to trudge to a buffet. My kids did not eat much so the food was wasted on them, but I'm glad we did it. We actually brought our own baggie full of Frosted Flakes for DS since we figured he wouldn't eat the preplated food. They did bring us a bowl and glass of milk for his cereal without problem.

Since you have the benefit of concierge to make your ressies, I would do it so you can say that you tried it. I, personally, will not stress over the early morning race to get ressies again unless my DD wanted it very badly. I don't think she would care much one way or the other.

I think I am going to book it. As everyone mentioned, we should probably try it once and then we will know for sure. Plus I would love to eat in the castle on my birthday! Thanks everyone for all of your input. I really appreciate it!:earsboy:

to try and get the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Epcot. I believe Snow White is usually there, and it is easier to get PS for this meal. The food is normal breakfast fare (they bring a filled skillet of eggs, bacon, etc to your table), and it wasn't as rushed as CRT.
That being said, we are doing both.
