Do you need to crop for some reason? Aesthetically, you don't want your subject right in the middle, but if you want to keep all of the ocean you can. If you do want/need to crop, two suggestions. First, I would take off the right 1/4 of the picture to place your subject in a good place. If you prefer taking a little off the other side, I would go only to the far left side of the end of the pier, to still illustrate the pier without feeling like you're cutting off the ocean. You could do both of these if you're looking for a smaller picture. I would leave the height alone unless you need to crop it, and then take off from the bottom, but I would leave some of your husband's jeans or he'll look odd. If that doesn't make sense, let me know and I'll try to be clearer.

Looks like the wee one wants to check out the jettyand get closer to the water. An adventuresome kid after my own heart.:lovestruc

I wouldn't crop a thing, but then I very seldom do.

Hey! I think I know where that is! :)

Anyway, I'd probably crop one and leave the other. Or I'd crop them both a bit. Helpful, I know. I like both of the pictures. Could you put a circle around your DD to make her stand out?

thanks for your thoughts ladies. still haven't decided but maybe yes cutting maybe an inch off right to uncenter DD and DH. I do not have to crop and it isn't a need I just what to scrap book the best image so to speak. So wasn't sure if cropping would help. I have those two and two walking on the beach so maybe I'll look for a 4-photo sketch and see what I can come up with.....

it will make this one day at the beach like a 4 page spread but that is fine with me.

Mickster- I forget where your parents are so not sure if the same..... we do have photos of DD eating her first piece of Mack and Manco's pizza.... does that give any more a clue????:rotfl:

I have a really cool photo of DD eating the pizza and somehow I got the water bottle that has their label at the one end of the photo. It looks awesome. I kind thinking I wasnt to do the thing where the photo gets cut up and put back together on cardstock so to speak. I think it would look cool but haven't decided for sure yet.

Thanks ladies!!! I jsut though about these photos they other day and figured I could scrap the 12 of them quickly ha LOL

If you're not sure about cropping any of the pics, why don't you make several photo copies and crop those in various ways.

......... cause that would actually be smart and possible save time :rotfl2: :rotfl2: sometimes you just have trouble thinking outside the box :rolleyes1 I think I might just leave them the way they are (orcrop just a little from the one side) and use just those two photos on a layout. I have some ribbon that matches the roll up on my DD's pants was thinking of putting that over the photo to offcenter them by means of the ribbon "cutting" the photo....

anyway....
