TO Concierge or not to Concierge ?

Don't know too much about WDW Concierge service at any of the resorts besides a better room , a private lounge with refreshments and they are able to make ressies for you .....

What are the benefits of staying Concierge's at any of the WDW properties and why do *you* stay there ?

You pretty much covered the amenities! They'll also have bathrobes in the rooms, appetizers in the lounge, and generally the concierge rooms have nicer views. They are located on key-card access floors or in special buildings that are key-card accessed.

I went through the same thing. I booked a concierge room for my upcoming trip, but have since changed it to a regular room. Concierge is nice, and if you don't mind spending the money, go for it!!! I really love staying on concierge levels!!!

concierge is a wonderful way to spend your vacation!!!

the rooms arent necessarily bigger, but usually have a different dcor, and more amenities. different toiletries, bathrobes...

the lounges are wonderful, great continental breakfast spread, afternoon snacks, evening appetizers, and nightly desserts and cordials.

the concierge staff is there for you to make PS, or any other requests or help youmay need during your stay!

we love concierge, and are completely spoiled now! it is such a great luxury and extra special way to spend your WDW trip!!!

if you can swing it, I say give it a try!!!!!!!

If you have reservations for the concierge you can call up (they are supposed to send you something but some times we have to call up) before your stay and tell them the PS you want. The concierge starts calling for you really early in the morning, in addition to being able to see all open spaces in their computer, so they have more options to give you. The people there were even able to get Cindy's for us, on short notice.

We stayed at the BC concierge two weeks ago and were very disappointed with the extra money we spent. Despite what is posted on this board, the room size was the same as a standard room, there were No bathrobes, and the offerring in the lounge was limited. The lounge was good for snacking but was not a substitute for a meal. The staff indicated that they had made our PS seating showing a special diabetic meal for my wife but none of restaurants were made aware of this. I think this is another area where Disney is over rated !

I love Concierge, i couldnt stay in Disney with out it. You get a lot of little things that help make the trip a little more special. But whether you really get your money's worth depends on the staff. last time i stayed Concierge was October at the YC and I had a great staff so it was wonderful.
