Okay, I have been waiting patiently (or not so patiently) for southwest to open their schedule to buy airfare so all airlines would go down.

Well, they did go down, but not much. Currently airfare from Seattle to orlando is $245. I have seen it as low as $150 and have paid up to $360 in the past.

The flight times are awesome, they are night flights so my husband will miss one less day of work and my kids one less day of gymnastics and school. (they sleep just fine on the plane and we drag em sleeping to the car).

But I think it will probably go down more before October.

Agghh, I am driving myself insane.

It seems that the airfare from this part of the West Coast has been high for Fall fares. Looks like from your counter that you leave around the time we do and everyone in our party has already purchased their tickets.
I would find out from the airline if they do the vouchers if the tickets go down in price. If they do, I would probably purchase the tickets and watch to see if they go down. Right now $245.00 round trip isn't too bad.
I like to have my tickets purchased so I am more at ease and if the price drops that is a bonus for future travel.
Tough decision!

I went ahead and bought them. The flight times made it worth the money. We love those night time flights and they are hard to come by! That way you don't waste a whole day flying. I am happy with that price, so I won't complain!

SWA doesn't charge a change ticket fee. If the price goes down on your flights you can cancel your original flights, get a SWA credit and apply to your new flights. You won't get the money back on the difference you would just have SWA funds. It's not as good as cash but atleast you get something back. You can use the left over credit on any SWA flight in the next year.

I am currently on a project in Seattle and just love the cool weather you guys are having compared to the hot sweltering weather here in New Orleans.
