To bring a stroller, or not bring a stroller....

Take the stroller! :sunny: I would, however, reccomend a smaller stroller. We brought are big, comfy stroller on our first trip ... boy, what a pain getting it and aour 3 kids off and on the busses! Now, I only bring my combi. It folds easily, is very light, and also reclines for naps. Although we rent a stroller for our older child, we liked having the small stroller at the resorts foe the "hike" :rotfl2: :lmao: to our room and to help with sleepy children to and from the parks.

Good Luck!

Take the stroller, you will not regret it! I think something lightweight that folds easily and has some storage area works best. We have a MacLaren Volo, purchased last year for my DS3 at the time just for our trip last fall after struggling with a bulkier stroller the year prior. Will be using it again this fall with my DS now 4, couldn't imagine not having it. Never had any trouble with locating it, last year we had a lime green check tag from the airlaine which worked to spot it.

take the stroller!!! I bought the disney model last visit after carrying dd(then 3) from magic kingdom to the pop century bus stop and standing in bus line for at least 30 min at closing with sleeping beauty over my shoulder. dd4 is a not a wee slip of a thing, either. After that, i figure the 40 was a good investment.
epcot is the worst for finding stroller parking. not clearly marked and not convenient to the attractions in the front of the park, but world showcase is better.

does anyone have a stroller they love my son is 2 and we are thinking of buying one and bringing it with us so we have it all the time
outta the parks, at the resort and such
i was thinking babiesrus has a macclaren with high handles and DH is concerned about that
thanks :)

I have the big evenflow stroller too. My dh thinks it may be to bulky and thinks we should get a cheap lightweight one, but I'm thinking our son might grow uncomfortable in those. So the big ones aren't much of a problem?

We didn't find it to be too much trouble. And with the basket underneath we were real happy as we had place to store things. In the little side pockets i put in the battery operated fans for everyone. Her lanyard went in the top section and the when we went on the rides I simply placed it in my bag. Plus my DGD did nap, so it was nice that she could lay down and not have to sit up in the umbrella type stroller. There are some quiet places in each of the parks and usually she would fall asleep while we were walking and then I would find a shaded quiet place and let her sleep while others walked around. I enjoyed the peacefulness and the rest time. :sunny: Even when we got on the bus it was not too much trouble to simply fold it up and pick it up. Also even though we had dining plan, I would fill a softside cooler with water bottles (one that would have 6 or more) and put ice in it from the machine at the resort, usually a gallon ziplock bag full, this would keep the water cold all day (Sept) from 8:00 until 8:00 or more at night. We got fruit bowl with several of our CS's and I would place this in the bag and keep it cold, she would snack on the grapes etc during the day. We will be bring it back this year as well

I like to get a ballon and tie it to the stroller so when it is moved we look up to find our umbrella stroller.

I would bring a stroller! A hot, tired two year old is not fun. Make it easy, make it simple, bring a stroller.

As for large of umbrella, that is what you will feel comforatable moving around. Don't worry about the bus, you can be the last person off and take your time.

If you can at all manage it, bring your own. It's yours, you know it, your child knows it, and it will be a comfort when the day gets long.
