i've just come across an available time for breakfast at CRT and wondered what people thought of the breakfast there? I was thinking booking it and surprising DBF but having just left uni and being currently unemployed i don't have a lot of money to put towards pre paying for a meal, do you think its worth the £40?

Having done it twice, I would say it was just O.K.
The food is nothing special and I felt the whole experience was rushed.
It was for DD who loved both times :love:
The highlight for me was walking up an empty Main Street :thumbsup2

the only time slot available in the whole two weeks is 10.15 so we wouldn't get the empty main street experience lol. can you recommend anywhere else that makes for a magical breakfast experience :wizard:

I suppose that would depend on whether of not you or DBF are into the characters or not.
There are plenty of the character breakfasts - not sure how many would be available when you go though, especially with the free DDP.
I have heard good reviews about O'Hanas and we are thinking of booking a breakfast for ourselves here.

We ate in Cape May which does a character breakfast - that was fun, we had a late breakfast (still loads of fresh food) and then didn't have lunch and hung round the boardwalk, or you could head down to Epcot :thumbsup2

i've just booked crystal palace for the 30th of august. i think i may give crt a miss for this trip unless i manage to find a job soon and i can afford it.

::yes::

We did CRT for my youngest DD when she was still into dressing up in Princess dresses and although we all enjoyed it, I wouldn't bother to go again.

I've been to Crystal Palace for dinner a couple of times, it is great fun in there, and your breakfast there will be much better value. :thumbsup2

You can always do CRT next time. :goodvibes

We are doing Chef Mickeys at Contemporary again next week, for the second time. felt this had better and longer character interaction, although I have seen mixed revews about the food (I actually enjoyed it!)

Another I would consider is Akershus in Norway - EPCOT
The food here was completely different from the usual character meals and the CM's seemed more friendlier :)

thanks for all your help! i think i might try and get chef mickeys for dinner
