to and from parks and Beach Club

We are staying one night at a value resort, then we may be staying at the BCV from 1/1-4/2006. What is the best plan for transportation between BCV and the parks.

Possible park plans:
1/1 Sun. MK morning/Epcot afternoon or evening
1/2 MK morning/returning in the evening for Wishes and Spectro
1/3 MGM morning/Epcot evening staying for Illuminations

We will be traveling with children, one being 5 in a stroller.

For both Epcot and MGM, you can either take a boat or walk. Epcot is a very short walk from the Beach Club. MGM is further (took us adults about 15 minutes) so with young kids you may prefer to take the boat. To MK and AK, there will be a bus fromt he resort to the parks.

Here's what I would recommend for transportation based on your schedule:

Day 1: Bus to MK in morning; take bus back to Beach Club from MK, then walk to Epcot.

Day 2: Bus to MK in morning, bus back to Beach Club, then bus back to MK again foer Spectro/Wishes.

Day 3: Boat or walk to MGM; boat from MGM to Epcot. This last part I'm not sure of - I don't remember if the same boat does the loop to the Epcot area hotels, MGM and Epcot, or if one boat route takes you to MGM, and another goes to Epcot. If the boat from MGM doesn't go to Epcot, just take the boat from MGM back to the Beach Club, and walk to Epcot. Or you can get off the MGM boat at any of the resorts that the boat goes to and switch to a boat to Epcot.

(I usually stay at BC and I would take the bus back and forth for MK then walk to Epcot)

(Again, the buses are great. I've never had a problem. Just plan on about 40 minutes to travel each way although it is rare it takes that long)

1/3 MGM morning/Epcot evening staying for Illuminations


(I would take the boat back and forth to MGM then walk to Epcot later in the evening)

Do the monorail between MK and Epcot. You can split up your party and 4 can ride up front if there is room.
