Included in the MVMCP tickets is a family picture. Do you get a picture for each of your tickets purchased, or is it just one per family?

How many of you are planning on wearing Santa hats/ Mickyears w/Santa hats? Will you bring Santa hats from home or buy them there?

AND, do ALL the resorts have a Christmas tree? I've seen pictures of some of the resorts, but hadn't seen or read that the AS resorts have one. Hope my attempt to save a few$$ will NOT result in us not having Christmas decorations at our resort. I'm an even more Christmas fanatic than I am Disney!:earseek: :earseek:

Good morning Gerri! :D I believe that the family picture is one per family. Unless of course you have 20 people in your family. ;) They have photo kiosks throughout the Magic Kingdom on MVMCP nights. You'll get a map showing you where they are at the party.

I have my Mickey/Santa hat from last year. I bought it through the Disney catalog before I went last year. And yes, I'll be wearing it. How often do I get to look silly and get away with it? (No comments from the peanut gallery please :p)

Each resort is beautifully decorated for Christmas, and that includes a Christmas tree, decorated to the theme of the individual resort. Last year we saw the trees at the Grand Floridian, the Wilderness Lodge, and the Yacht and Beach Clubs. They are just beautiful. Nobody does Christmas like Disney! You'll feel right at home. The Wilderness Lodge Tree almost touches the ceiling of the lobby. It was really spectacular.

Here's what I remember from previous years about the photo. It's one picture per address. For example, when I went with my son, my mom and my nieces, we were allowed 3 copies of the same photo. One for me and my son, one for my mom and one for my nieces. Last year my mom and I got one for each of us of the same photo. Each party can fill out their own form to receive the photo.
I have my Mickey ears Santa hat from last year and plan on wearing it again this year. I even wore it for the picture. Too bad my face looked like that "bitter beer face" in the commercial!! LOL If I remember right, most people stop at the closest picture place and stand in loooooooooong lines waiting to get their picture taken. We've always walked back into the park a little more (I think it was Frontierland) and there's never a long line!
I don't remember if the All Stars had Christmas decorations. I don't think they did. I can't think of anything that really sticks out as being overly festive, not like at some of the deluxe resorts, who go all out.
Gerri, you won't look silly at all. You'll look like you're having a great time, enjoying the holiday at WDW!! We'll all look that way. :D :D

Gerri, if you don't wear your Mickey ears Santa hat, you won't fit in and you won't be cool!

;) There! Now do you feel better? ;)

I'm bringing mine....it's on my list of things to pack. :bounce:

That's right. It's the ones WITHOUT the Santa hats that will look silly! :p :p

Hi!
We have stayed at All Star Sports at Christmas time before and it is beautifully decorated for Christmas just like the rest of The World so don't worry!! I can't say that I remember a tree but lots of greenery and red and green ribbons everywhere, carolers, red and green hair wraps with jingle bells ...it's all there! We will be at the WL this Christmas...you really should ride over there just to see the tree!!! Nobody "does" Christmas like disney!!! You will feel it everywhere!

Oh guys, thanks for all the replies! I'm just sort of bummed out right now. After reading that the Santa Mouse ears are a MUST, (I don't own any yet) I went shopping to my local Disney Store to either get the catalogue, or buy some if they had them there. I was also going to do a little preChristmas shopping. When I traveled the 30 so miles to get to the Mall, THE Disney Store is CLOSED. More to the point, it's GONE.

I'm so upset. I was just there about 8 weeks ago and there was no sign that it would be closing up shop. I walked around the Mall and noticed that the Warner Brother Shop is also closing. I just can't imagine this. This is a large nice Mall. It has just been remodeled and none of the other Malls here in my area have a Disney Store.

Guess I'll have to wait till I get there and hope they still have them for sale. I think I recall reading that others had to go to a couple of different shops to get enough for their family of 6. One more question, will you be wearing them at all times in the parks and around the resorts? Can they be engraved?
Gerri

Bummer about your Disney Store! Try the internet Disney Store catalog or call some of the shops at Disney World...they will ship them to you! There is a number to call for merchandise once you get home...I'll see if I still have it but I also just saw it on the tips board yesterday! Good Luck with your ears!

You might want to check the online Disney Store...that's where I got mine last year. I don't bother going to TDS here. They mostly have infant and children's items, and no real selection for us big-type kids.

I'll probably just wear my ears for the MVMCP....but you never know....

I can just see me at the Grand Floridian for Tea with Santa Mickey ears on....

Picture thought. When you first enter the park or exit your restaurant, zip over to Pirates or Buzz photo areas and get your pictures out of the way.
