To all the DIS friends on the 10/13/2001 Disney Magic Cruise

legs22 - "24" is a new drama on FOX (channel 29 in our area) at 9:00 pm on Tuesdays and reruns usually on Fridays. Eash show is one hour of the day in the life of these people. Tonights show was from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Lots of looping story lines and surpirses each week.

I don't have HBO, so I've missed out on "Sex in the City', but am thinking about renting them. I did that with the "Soparnos" first and second season.

Burr....really getting cold in our area tonight. Predicted lows overnight in low 30's. I know, the rest of you are laughing, but the South Florida area is not built for those temps. The warmest thing I own is a sweat jacket!

bye......

YYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WDW: Somehow, I think we will manage. I am going to wear the same formals 2 weeks in a row. Who's gonna know? I guess we will also be doing laundry. We usually do it once we get to the resort after the cruise. But, there will be no resort, just cruising!

I forgot to tell everyone goodbye until the 31st. I will be thinking of you on our visit to the Mouse's House!

11 days and no one posted to this thread!!! What is wrong with us??? Okay, so the boards were down for a few of those days.......:D

Going to Animal Kingdom for the first time Feb 7th. Looking forward to getting a "Mickey fix".

Hope everyone is doing well. We're fine. DS took a second place at his middle school for his science fair project (I have NO idea how he got a second, but.......) and he now moves on to the county level in a couple weeks.

wdwgoose - how did your DD & DS do with their riding competition?

bye for now.......

Hey ya'll I haven't posted here recently and I see neither has any one else. I hope everyone is doing well. We have all had a bit of the upper respiratory virus going around but none of us have been seriously ill. Thank goodness!!

Kathi - Vanessa was the only one that rode at the show and she did very well for her first show and only being on a horse for 6 months. She was 5th in an equitation class (judging the rider) and third in a pleasure class (judging the horse). It was a wonderful learning experience and the judge gave her wonderful comments for improvement. First really big show is the first week in April. It is in Rantoul, Illinois about 7-8 hours from here.
check you PM's Kathi

Talk again soon!!

 Vicki

Good morning!!

Hoping everyone is doing well. We just returned from a visit to Animal Kingdom, MGM and EPCOT. It was our first visit to AK and we enjoyed it. Best part was "A Bug's Life" and "Tarzan Rocks". Loved those skating chimps!! We haven't been to the parks for a couple years and finally got to ride "Test Track" and "Rocking Roller Coaster". LOVED both!! DS and I skipped the fireworks at EPCOT so we could ride "Test Track" a second time.:D :D

The weather could have been better. It was overcast and cool both days, and drizzled on Sunday. We didn't go on the water ride at AK...people were coming off soaked. Hopefully next time it will be sunny and warmer.

Just found out we are going to be "parents" again. Our dog is pregnant and due @ March 11th. YEAH!!

wdwgoose-Thumbs up for your DD. What a great first showing with her horse!!

Got ta go...
Kathi

Hello all. At least I didn't miss much. It has been forever since I have been on the boards. We had an absolutely fanastic trip to WDW. It couldn't have been better. We arrived home on the 31st as planned but have been very busy with lots of little things. Then I got sick this past weekend. I am still sick ( a bad cold), but I had to work this morning. All I want to do is sleep. So, I am doing this instead.
We are buying a new vehicle, a Buick Rendezvous. The papers are all signed, we just have to wait for it to come in, hopefully before the end of the month. It should be very nice for traveling.
Well, that's all for now.

COME ON CRUISERS LETS GO .......
NO ONE HAS POSTED IN FOREVERRRRRRR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
okay role call WHO IS STILL HERE ?????????????
wdwgoose we b here

Hey Goose where u been? Long time no hear. Looking forward to dinner.:)
Molly's having her cardiac ablation at Miami Children's hospital on Wed. so say a prayer or two, will ya? Will stay overnight in the cardiac ICU then home in morning if AOK.

Hi all -

Laura we will surely keep Molly in our prayers for this procedure on Wednesday. I cannot believe we will be cruising in 67 days. Only 63 until we leave ofr WDW. 10 days until my boss retires and I am left holding the reigns. They have not yet filled her position, which means I will have to until they do. any one know a very easy to get along with director of Maternal Infant Services - Our hospital is hiring!! :D

We are looking forward to dinner with you all - Kathi, Phil and Laura.

Hey Kathi how are the puppies growing -(they haven't dellivered yet have they? Will you still have any of them when we come down? I would really like to see them. I cannot let Garry have one as we just bought another horse. Now Vanessa and Gregg both have their own horses. I think Garry and I will have to share theirs. I do not think I can afford to get any more. I keep telling the kids that I am going to ride their horse in a show, and they don't believe me.

Well every one keep in touch. Take care -

Vicki

So, how many pages did you have to go back to find this thread? Is Beano still alive? We are cruising the Panama Canal next month. Our cruise leaves the 15th and we will stop at Grand Cayman and Cozumel, plus Cartegena, Colombia and Costa Rica. Oh yeah, we also get to go through the canal.
Then we have 6 months of no vacations, uggh!!! We have to wait until our Disney cruises in October.

Hi all,

Yes, there is still life at the Richmond home! We've had a pretty hectic last 10 days. It all started with me dragging Laura and Molly (legs22 and DD) to a Pampered Chef Party (like Tupperware but cookware).
:D We had fun even in the downpour....we're begging for rain.....had to pour the night we were going out.....

Next my darling DH (a/k/a Mr. Stubborn) was having mild chest pains, but refused to go to the hospital. One word for him.....STUPID!!!!! He has had a 60% blockage for @ 3 years. After a day and a half, he finally let me take him to the ER, and, yes it was a problem. His enzyeme levels were raised, so they are calling it a heart attack. There was no damage, thank God. The Doctor feels it was the artery with the blockage having spazams. So he's on different meds and already back to work. AND, we are all back on a better eating plan. No chocolate shouffles for us!:( Laura-I was going to try to find you and go to lunch--$2.00 Wednesday
at JFK cafeteria for hospital emplyees. LOL

We took our beautiful dog to the vet for her pre-delivery xray. Our vet was able to count 5 puppies. She's horribly uncomfortable. Hopefully she will deliver this weekend. I start a on vacation Friday. Vicki, I need a good OB nurse to assit. HELP................ The puppies will be about 8-9 weeks old when you visit, so you'll get to see them.

Steven started FCAT (Florida Comprehensive Apptitude Testing) today. It's a multi day testing Florida kids are required to take yearly. Alot of pressure is put on the kids. The better the school scores are, the more state money the school gets. Hum...shouldn't it be the other way around??

And the worse thing to happen this week..........my space bar is hardly working!!!!!! Life can be very cruel.

Best to all,

Kathi

Extra prayer for Molly ;)

Kathi,
Glad Phil is OK. Men can be so stubborn! He went to a good hospital for a heart problem though!
I'm usually in a cancer conference every Wed at the hospital and we eat a free lunch in the meeting.
Looking forward to Molly + puppies. But will that mean she'll want to take one home? Oh no! Better skip the puppies. Just kidding. But no more dogs for me!

Beanoooo! Where are youuuuu?

Denine- Your starting to sound like you have the vacation life of inkkognito! You lucky DINKS you! Have fun!

Duck, duck, duck-- GOOSE! (Sorry, just felt like doing that)

funny funny haha I liked that Laura by the way this is goose in disguise (cannot get DD logged out so I must use her name)

Kathi Glad to hear Phil is OK. Men really can be bean heads - no offense Beano.
Cannot wait to see the puppies, wait that would mean my cruise is over, soooo on second thought :D

Vicki

I am doing my best to be Inkognito! I'll stick to longer cruises than 3 day though.

Kathi: Glad to hear Phil is OK!

Laura: You know Molly is going to be begging you for one of those sweet, adorable little puppies with those big, brown eyes.
