kids happy to have day snowed off school although my oldest DD was supposed to go to cardiff today to read a welsh poem as part of the opening ceremony of the welsh assembly building in front of the queen, she was a bit gutted (my DD not the queen!) but playing in the snow took her mind off it.

How do you know the queen wasn't gutted? I bet she's moaning now to Philip 'One was supposed to meet slinkys dd and one is most not amused not to meet her'

I have had a lovely snowy white St Davids Day too.
The school I teach in was having a half day today, so that we could have an Inset this afternoon. Luckily because we only had two children in we were able to have our Inset this morning and all the staff had the afternoon off!
