My neice and her family live right outside London, in Billericay, and they emailed that they are all safe but a lot of people from their town are stranded in London right now. Praying that everyone gets home safe and sound and soon.

I am very homesick right now (I am in DC metro area) I want to see my Mum and give her a hug. She is pretty shook up, but otherwise okay. She said it was chaos, she was able to make her way home from central London to south London.

After being witness to how our country handled 9/11 and then watching as Madrid handled their own bombings, I had hoped that maybe the free world would be spared any future attacks. My hopes took a blow today, but I have faith that the terrorist will one day be defeated.

I didn't find out about the tragedy in London until after I arrived at work. I was very sad to hear the news. I do hope that all our UK Dis'ers know that you are in the hearts and prayers of so many of us over here in the US. Maggie
