We are all lucky to have found a place to talk about things that people around us are sick of hearing about. We get to vent about everything and I am amazed by how enthusiastic everybody is about each others' holidays.

I have definitely felt the love - I'll miss this board too......but I'm coming back, you'll all have to read my trip report and be amazed by my first hand knowledge for ages to come!!!

I'll listen out for a Kiwi accent in WDW - and I just realized - aren't you committing some kind of crime by leaving NZ while the rugby world cup is on? You may not make it through customs!!

I hope to pop in here and say Hi but if for some reason that goes pearshaped, know that I am thinking of you guys as you count down and excited for your holiday (vacation ) too!!

Yes, I always knew we would be going away when the RWC was on which is a shame I agree but, for all our school holidays (which we have to use because of DD13 and high school), these ones are the only ones that don't clash with American school holidays and I didn't want to put it off another year so deliberately asked very quietly, nearly 2 years ago, to DH whether he would mind missing the RWC and he said he wouldn't. Not sure if he still feels that way because it's a pretty fun time to be in N.Z. right now, but he knows he agreed so can't say anything!!

What is funny to me is, when I asked DH's extended family if they wanted to join us on the cruise (we will be on that during the final week of the RWC) , they all happily decided to come. I never mentioned the RWC to them cause I figured it was their responsibilty to work that out. So, a couple of months ago, we were at my father-in-laws birthday party and rugby talk came up. My brother-in-law clearly had not clicked that we would be away for the RWC final and, when I then decided I would tell him, was devastated! Too late as he has already paid in full for the cruise
