Firstly let me state i'm not a huge wrestling fan, i watch it occasionally but we when we go to WDW we will certainly try to go and watch TNA as my BF is a huge wrestling fan. I do have some questions however

1) Apart from park tickets for Universal, do you have to pay extra to watch TNA?

2) Can you get tickets in advance or is it first come first serve?

3) How long does the tapings last?

4) Is there a store to buy TNA merchandise as well?

They put a big sign out on days TNA is being taped so people will know. You just line up first come first served. Can't help you with the rest because we've never lined up. Family feud works the same way.

I got the answers from my friend who is a BIG TNA fan. Hope it helps. :)

1) No, you don't. It's free.
2) It's first come, first serve. You can begin getting them at 9am.
3) The tapings last anywhere from 2-3 hours.
4) There is, inside the arena.

I think you can contact TNA ahead of time and request to be put on a list that gets you in. Check their website.

Be sure to line up early. There is not much seats to be had.Standing room only after that.

Also the last time we went, they don't except credit cards for drinks or merchandise.I don't if that have changed or not.

I'm at staying at wdw for 2 weeks in oct will it be better do Tna when we go to US or change our days and do it on a free day I'm a huge Tna btw

Oh and if I'm just going to the park to watch it do u have to pay to get in the park

Yes, you do have to pay for parking even if you aren't going into the park. Just be aware that it is often easier to get into TNA if you are inside the park.

Hi, when we picked up our park map it said there were to be television tapings of TNA the following Monday and Tuesday, (this was March of this year) our two DS 14 and 10 are big fans so we decided to go on the Monday. The info was that Showtime was at 5.30pm, with park guest lines opening at 5pm. We went to IoA in the morning and moved across to Universal at about noon, at the gates I mentioned we were there for TNA and was told to go to a table that was set up outside Sound Stage 21 right in front of RRR. We went straight there and gave our names and were given a numbered ticket, DO NOT LOOSE THIS TICKET!! The guy said to come back at about 4pm. This we did, along with many, many other people. We waited and waited, we (and others) asked for info but no one seemed to know what was happening. Eventually someone came out and everyone was put in line in number order with the ticket we had got at noon - this took hours! We were quite near the front, or so we thought! There were a LOT of people behind us. After a long while literally dozens of people in a huge line were led past us, these people had pre booked on line somehow, we did not know we could have done this. Well, in the end so many people went in before us we were told we were the standby queue and might not get in! It was now nearly 8pm, eventually our line was moved forward, we were counted in and luckily we got in! we were among the last few to get in, a LOT of people didnt and they had been there since 4pm also. The show went on air live at 9pm till 11pm, we got back to our villa at midnight! It was brilliant to be there but I felt sorry for all those that didnt get in, when we started to queue at 4pm we thought the show was going to be on at 5.30pm, no one gave out any information or seemed to know what was going on and then when you have been in line for 2-3 hours you dont want to walk away because you have been there so long you dont want to give up! Also because the park shut at 6pm we couldnt buy any food or drink, it wasnt until we got seated at 8.30pm that we could buy any thing. Like I said it was great but not very well organised and the lack of info was the worst bit, lots of people were unhappy in the line and Im sure those that didnt get in after a 4 hour wait must have been upset. I hope this info helps, do check out if you can pre book on line or get there early to get a numbered ticket, have snacks and drinks with you and be prepared for a long wait.

They got VIP passes. You can also get them by emailing: tnaaudience@hotmail.com You need to write to the email address the beginning of the month for the show that you are going to and they will reply with your Vip voucher to print off.

Other than just inside the Impact Zone, is there any place at Universal parks or at City Walk that sells TNA merch?

I hope so because when we go we want to buy shirts on a prior trip to the park then we can go to the show itself in full uniform. lol

I believe that the only place you can get TNA merchandise is inside the Impact Zone.

so would you recommed watching tna on one of our rest days/water park days or make the day of the tapeing our studio day

Hi raymondcky yes you do have to pay to park and you do need a valid US admission ticket to get in to the park on the day you go to see TNA, once in the park you dont pay extra to watch TNA. If you are just going to turn up and queue as we did I would say get there early and give your name at the desk in front of RRR to get a numbered ticket. You line up in number order so the lower the number the better. Once you have your ticket do not loose it! NO ticket - NO admission. You would then be free to go round US until it is time to line up. However I really would recommend pre booking the VIP passes as mentioned in the above posts because as I said in my previous (long!) post some people behind us still did not get in. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the help I have already emailed them but have not heard a thing what's the difference between VIP and a normal ticket

Hi I believe the VIP ticket allows you to queue in a seperate queue to those who just turn up on the day, who are the standby queue. The VIP queue then gets priority admission over the standby queue. Good luck and have fun!

We were at the tapings last year on a Tuesday & were gonna go back, they were taping 3 nights the week that we were there. It was a Freaking joke, that will take too long to explain in detail here.We went back this year & found out that its the same song & dance no matter what they say.If it walks, talks,& looks like a duck...its a duck.
We had the VIP EXpress passes, which are a joke, along with Dennine whos with TNA & who you see out near the studios where the shows are,she has the megaphone.
If you want to know details, email me & I will be glad to explain to you. They have regulars who show up every week & get special treatment & I will leave it at that.

If you decide to go,good luck,it burned my kids & they are done with TNA altogether, live shows,TV everything TNA.

Good Luck.
