TN DisMeet @ Yeeha Bob!!! MARCH 2012

Okay, shall the planning begin? Several of us on the March 2012 planning thread discovered three things in common:

1- We are all going to be at WDW the first/second week of March 2012
2- We are all staying at POR
3- We are all from the Nashville area

So, what are we to do about this??? Let's Dis Meet!!!!

We want to catch a Yeeha Bob show, would you like to join us?

If you are not from TN...you are welcome too, we will make you honorary Tennesseeans for a couple hours!

Our family arrives on the morning of March 8th. We have a 7pm ADR for Boatwright's and would love to see Yeeha Bob after dinner. The other date we could possibly do this is March 10th, but we do have an 8:10 ADR for Ohana...not sure how late Yeeha Bob plays until???

The other option we could consider would be a meet at the main pool. Opinions? Objections? Suggestions?

But I'm at CBR March 4-9 ... not POR.

I don't know what Yeeha Bob is ... is it a Nashville thing? Because I'm near Knoxville. That whole time zone thing makes us two completely different worlds.

I'm at Epcot on 3/8 with a 5:20 GG ADR... park closes at 9, but we will probably avoid IllumiNation and head out after we're finished for the night (not exact on time just yet).

We have an 8:15 am Kona breakfast on 3/9 and then its back to TN for us.

I'm game for a group meet, as well as individual meets as well!

Hi - I'm Brenda from Missouri. My family (okay not really the "whole family", we're leaving the two younger kiddos at Nana's!) - DH, DD 12, & DS 10 will be arriving late March 8th and staying at POFQ.
I would be interested in saying hello! We will also be planning a one day excursion to Discovery Cove and may even have four free SeaWorld tickets to give away that come with our Discovery Cove day.

Hello All! Yeeha Bob is a performer at The River Roost lounge at POR. I have not personally seen him, but have read about him and heard RAVE reviews. I am not sure what his exact schedule is, but know that he plays late into the night, which I feel may work since we don't want to interrupt anyone's park times.

You can find video of him on youtube. It is family friendly.

So, who can show up March 8th at the River Roost Lounge POR from 9-10pm (or a little later)?

Welcome!!! Sea World Tix???? I have only been one time in my life even though I grew up in Central FL. Friends and family always worked at WDW, so those tix were easy to come by, but never Sea World. If you can't find anyone else to take them, I would be more than willing!

I can probably swing a DISmeet 3/8 after 9pm. It looks like our WoW friends will be joining us that day, so I can sneak off and leave DH with them and they can watch IllumiNations. We seem to watch this every year ... and I'm not the biggest fan. Yeah, I should be hung - I know ... but it's not like Wishes! or Fantasmic! I'd much rather see them.

So let's see where everyone stands and see if a tentative schedule can't be found and plan from there! But anyway, my point is, I'd be game!

I've only met one other DISer, who was a WDW local -- not a local-local. So it would be awesome to meet more DIS friends and DIS locals!

Yes, I have a DD9 and DS5 too!!! DD9 will have her 10th b-day the day AFTER we leave WDW. She lucks out, because this will be our 3rd trip to WDW and we have celebrated her birthday EVERY TIME we have gone!

DD turns 10 in February ... DS will turn 6 late March. That's very neat our kids are closely aged.
