TMI question ahead.....

Everything bookgirl said a few posts above and add to it the biggie of them all, totally natural: psyllium husk. I have seen it at Whole Foods but am sure it is available in other places as well. Mix it with water (2 tbsp + 1 glass), let sit 3 minutes or so, then drink before going to bed.
 
Okay this one is a bit odd, but here goes.

Wal-mart brand sugar-free maple syrup for breakfast. The sweetner in it is a laxative. It moves my mail pretty quickly, and it tastes good!
 

You should have a chat with your doctor especially if this is a new problem.
Benefiber or Metamucil can make a difference
Try high fiber foods like:

Prunes
Stewed Rhubarb nice on some oats
Lentils or any type of legume
Handful of raw nuts
Dried fruits (sulphite free)
Kiwi fruit
Wholegrain cereal
Brown rice

Make sure you are getting enough water and exercise
and cut down on white rice and cheese (if you eat those).

Definitely talk to your dr if this is a big problem but when my DD14 was little she had major issues with not wanting to go.....we gave her 1T of mineral oil daily, we put it in her juice cup and she didn't even know it was there. You might want to try that, we got it at Wal-Mart or Target and it was quite inexpensive.
 
I am bringing this back to the top to see if I can get any new responses....Also I need some help to relieve my constipation, I am having a bout of it now and need some major help.. I know this is TMI but I am desperate!!!!! TIA
 
A bowl of Fiber One (not the flakes, the other one that looks like little sticks) and Miralax and your problems are solved!!!!

Dulcolax is a much stronger laxative, whereas Miralax is more of a stool softener and can be used more often. My doctor told me it can be used daily with no side effects and is not addictive.
