tlhbdm-going back and in double digits

Aww I love it! I've never actually been inside the Contemporary. Besides passing through on the monorail. I always want to go in there. I am hoping next trip we do Chef Mickeys and then I can check out the Contemporary. :goodvibes

I would recommend Chef Mickey's breakfast. DH and I both hate the dinner(and there isn't a whole lot of things I HATE in this world) in Chef Mickey's.

"How's married life?" is nothing compared to "So when't the baby coming??"

I see this has already been talked about, but Darren and I get bombarded with this question!! I've started saying "If I had a dollar for everytime somebody asked us that, I'd be a millionaire!" :rotfl2:

My 22 year old cousin has a 2 year old boy, a little girl that just had her 1st birthday, and she's pregnant again.... And her mom (my aunt) is the worst with trying to give us the baby fever! I'm like, you have enough babies to play with, don't ya? :lmao:

I'm like old now...but that question used to get to me like crazy under the skin.... finally i found a comeback that leaves them quiet and usually they never ever again ask.... I would either say, "We are trying 3 or 4 times a day... not sure what else to try..." or "You are right, it is time for kids, Come on Rusty, we need to go home and make babies." When I did become pregnant I was so worried of what else they might say or the hands reaching over to touch my tummy that I didn't tell anyone for like... 4 or 5 months.

To the How's married life question I would say, "Great, I'm writing a book about it, I'm on chapter 3."

Now looking back, I am surprised at how sarcastic I was back then. Geez... I thought I had developed my sarcasm over the years...

I loved seeing the wedding pictures. As soon as I find a bit of time I am going to go read your honeymoon trip. I love the black and white ones for some reason. I guess just because they are a little different.

Thank you very much. We are still trying to decide which ones we want printed. Actually we were told we would get a CD with all of the rights and we have YET to receive it(and the wedding was almost 5 months ago)

Now that is funny.... Do you ever rethink about something funny and then laugh out loud like in a public bathroom or something? Then you want to laugh out loud again because you know people are wondering why you are laughing out loud in a bathroom. Laughter keeps us young at heart.

It would be very hard to decide which ones. Some of them that maybe you wouldn't think would be in a wedding are important...such as getting ready with the dress going over...or the holding hands one. I would want to have the rights and the CD in case you decide something is wanted later. You had a great photographer.

My best friend had a photographer that took a picture of all her bridesmaids feet in a circle. I know it sounds corney but we spent the whole day together with manicures and pedicures and facials etc. We had lunch catered in and laughed and spent the day together. Her wedding was not until the evening and the photographer came in and we were all in dresses but barefooted still... we all stuck in one foot and he snapped the picture. No one thought too much of it then. My friend died unexpectantly 2 years later, her mother gave all of us a copy of that picture along with a book she had made up with all her poems in it. That memory is captured in that silly picture and it makes that picture so beautiful. I think every picture holds the memory of that moment..

Besides that....

All your babies will want to see every single picture from that day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do do that and the look on people's faces are priceless. You just made my busy day.

:cheer2:

That made me choke up. That is so nice. I am sorry about your friend. I love all the photo journalistic style that is why we picked this photographer but they are horrible business people.

Ok another thing I am doing next time. You are so funny.

We always try to have fun no matter what. So we have all kinds of odd stories of things we did/do. My nephews who are now 18 and 20 still travel with us when we go somewhere. We PLAN the things that each of us will be doing...our MISSION. Then we scrapbook that topic for that person. We find that you will get one of two things... either the person will laugh with you or stare at you which makes you laugh more.

That is so sad...that made me cry. Its really cool though that you have that picture. That was super nice of her mom to do such a wonderful thing. :goodvibes

I think it helped her mothers grieving process somehow...and I didn't mean to bring you tears.... :grouphug:

Sorry I've been kind of MIA from my pre-trip report in a few days. Not really anything new for the upcoming trip but I do have to say that we went to DH's dad and step-mom's house on Friday night. We got there and it was not so much fun because we helped DH's sister go through pictures because she is graduating high school in about three weeks and we were supposed to help her pick out pictures. Well I can't really pick out pictures she wants but DH's dad made us sit there while she went through about 4000 pictures...boring. Then his parents said oh we don't have a bed you guys can sleep on so you're going to have to sleep in the camper in the garage. DH and I looked at each other and we're like this isn't funny. We drove down here to take his sister down(becuase she has wrecked three cars in a year and half) and then tell us they don't have a bed for us. So DH and I slept out there. We were freezing in the night. He plugged it in and we had a space heater but when we woke up in the morning we found the window had been open all night and it got down to 35 that night. Also I have to add that DFIL and DMIL are not the type of people who let you sleep in (even on the weekend) and I am the type of person who likes sleeping in on Saturday morning especially now since I work 8-5 everyday during the week. So they came and woke us up at 8:30 a.m.:scared1: :scared1: and we didn't even get to eat breakfast. Then they made DH and I go through DH old stuff (like clothes, memorbilia, and toys) another thing I really couldn't help with because it's not my stuff and I don't know what he wants to get rid of. The only thing we found that I was happy was, this cross-stitch thing I made DH when he graduated high school. I will post a pic tomorrow. So then I realized I never finished the one I started for myself when I graduated so ALL day yesterday I was working on it. I decided to start over and it took me the entire day to make the pattern. I'll post pics of that too. Oh yea and then on Saturday afternoon, DH's dad started talking really meanly to DH's step-mom and started yelling at her and she started crying and I was actually really kind of scared that he was going to hit her or something. She ended up leaving for a while because she needed to get out of the house and I totally understand her. And DH's dad started yelling"These kids came down to see us and you leave that is total *insert naughty word* that you are leaving when they are down here don't you respect them more?" I was so scared that he was going to do something to DH, DH's sis, and I.

I am still trying to work on my internary for WDW in September. One thing thoguh I have to ask you all is my dad said him and his girlfriend want to go to Discovery Cove and swim with the dolphins. I think that I have seen in people's TRs that they were able to get a really good discount for there. Does anyone know where I could find this discount? Sorry for complaining to all of you but this is really the only place I can vent.
