Every morning before dawn, Universal Orlando executive Skip Sherman hits the ground running. And he has to in order to get everything done. Thousands of people visit Universal Orlando every day, making it one of the busiest tourist draws in the United States.

As head of the entertainment division, Skip's responsible for booking all the performers, creating the events, imagining the rides, and bringing the magic to the Universal Orlando experience. But for all his experience in putting on a show, Skip has never had to perform. How will Skip do when he takes center stage?

We put Skip in the roles of the people who bring this theme park to life — from stepping into character as a street performer, to hawking at a carnival booth, to leading the Jaws tour ride, to middle-of-the-night maintenance work — each assignment bringing its own challenges, testing Skip in new ways.

By the end of his week, Skip will learn what it really takes to keep this theme park running every day of the year — and what job "performance" really means.

Air date Wednesday 5/26/04 10:00 PM ET/PT
