TL or BB with little kids??

I am leaning more towards typhoon lagoon-we won't be doing any of the steep slide rides. What is there to do at ketcha kiddee creek?? Disney site does not have much info. Is there anywhere to snorkel with tropical fish? The shark swim would freak my 9 year old.....but would love to snorkel w/fish!!! Thanks in advance for any advice!!!
Just have to share...just upgraded my sept trop from 5 nights to 7!!!

BB only had a small pool area and we felt it was more for older kids and adults. TL has plenty of fun stuff, and your kids could go in the wave pool with an adult.

How old is your youngest. My 5 year old enjoyed both, but liked the wave pool at TL the best, as she could decide how "close" she wanted to get to the big waves. Once she heard the horn blow, there was no getting her to go to the "kiddie" area. When she was 4, she liked the BB kiddie area enough, but on our return this August, I think my crew (6, 8, 10, 12) will be voting TL again. I think either way, you win

your 2 yr old would be happy at either the kiddie area at TL or the Tykes Peak area in BB. Your 9 yr old would be much happier at BB. My 6 yr olds informed the kid's area at TL was "for babies". There's a part of BB called Ski Patrol that's just for his age group. They have slides, a zip line ride, "ice bergs" that they can try and walk across, etc. The family raft ride is better and the wave pool is milder. My kids hated the wave pool at TL because they were constantly getting knocked down by adults, who were knocked down by the rough waves. The bottom of the pool is very rough and they were getting scraped up. The lazy river is also longer at BB.

i remember seeing more younger children at TL. i agree with a previous poster that your 9 year old may enjoy BB more. there was quite an area dedicated that was being happily used by many kids of that age.
