Any reviews from last night’s Moonlight Magic at Typhoon Lagoon?

We have tickets to the August one, so I’m curious if there were any changes, new stuff, etc from previous dates?

following,

I have tickets to June 9, 2025 event. I have never attended Moonlight Magic at Typhoon Lagoon, only the main wdw parks.

Do they do anything special, food vouchers, snacks, etc.

Is there a map for the event.

I'm really just curious for any details. What time did they begin letting in, snack vouchers, did they provide the refillable mugs like I've seen from last year, special events/characters.

Same! I went a few years ago and loved it. Just adults and we had a great time.

Yes! if someone can post a review. We have tickets for the one in August so looking for food and character info

I was hoping to see a review here but I ended up checking FB and there were quite a few pictures plus one rather disturbing post about a missing iPhone. There were several follow-up posts with other members mentioning that quite a few phones and wallets went missing that night. So just a word of caution to everyone. Secure your valuables. Just because it's a DVC event with limited access, that doesn't mean you can let your guard down.

We had a great time! It was my DH, adult son, and myself. The snacks were the same as we had at an after-hours event earlier in the year: ice cream sandwiches, Mickey bars, fruit bars, popcorn, soda and water. There was a DJ with re-mixed Disney/dance music and the characters we saw were Stitch, Mickey Mouse, Minnie, and Goofy.
The more popular rides had about a 20-minute line (I'm sorry, I don't know any of the names) but others were only a few minutes. We spent most of our time in the wave pool and lazy river. They gave us light-up Stitch necklaces upon arrival and there were some fun photo ops. It was a highlight of our trip.

The only stealing I saw was the family next to us who had a very large bag that they kept putting soda bottles and containers of popcorn in to take with them. When I walked past the bag, I saw they had at least 15 bottles of soda in that bag. When one of the younger members (grandson, maybe) asked about the bag of loot, the grandfather laughed and explained that he had paid a lot of money for his dvc, so it was ok.

I bought a waterproof pouch for my phone from Amazon and wore it on a lanyard at TL, worked out great! You can use the phone, take pics, etc. while in the pouch. They also sell them at TL, needless to say they're cheaper on Amazon.

We had a good time. I wish they provided a map with where all the special things are. Maybe they did and we just missed it? It was our first time to Typhoon Lagoon so it is hard to know where we are going (we also don’t have the phones with us all the time because we don’t want to get them wet).

I saw Duffy was taking pictures with others where I was getting water somewhere, but I don’t have my phone with me. We always took turns to have one person watching our bags while others doing something else. I thought about it getting a cabana because it has a locker, but we got there later than I expected and the cabanas were probably all gone. I can’t even find the correct spot to ask for cabanas by the time we were there.

Also it feels a little unorganized to find the bus for going back to the hotel because there is a number assigned to each hotel for the bus, but the actual pick up areas are not marked with the numbers. I also wish they would start the direct bus from the hotel to Typhoon Lagoon earlier then when the event start. It would be a lot easier and faster to just Uber if we didn’t need a car seat.

The event itself was very fun. I just wish we were more prepared.
