Evening! I've spent almost the whole day trying to figure out where to stay on the way home from vacation. Instead of heading right up 95, we are detouring to go over near Charlotte to visit an old friend of ours. So it's making the search harder.

How was work today Pikester?

Work was......work. The kids were just loud and PITAs. Not all of them but the 4 that were sure felt like the whole class. I feel so bad for the other kids because I'm trying to help them and the PITAs need my attention too so it feels like nothing gets accomplished. I asked someone to come into the class tomorrow to remind them about how we should behave in school and this person can not come in until the afternoon. It doesn't really help me but I guess it's something. I guess I'm going to have to start writing people up. I hate doing that but I'm starting to pull my hair out!

At least it'll be Friday and you can relax. You should just have a talk with them. I always told my classes they should be better for the sub than for me. Subs go all around and they would not want someone telling everyone how horrible their class was would they? On eclass this year I had stop whaer they were...I said they were not acting like responsible 1st graders who knew how to use a library. They needed to be ....whatever it was but they sure listened then.

Oh, I so enjoyed the Office last night...Baby Halpert is here. In vain, I tried to get BF to watch it, but no go...so instead he heard me screaming and cooing. His choice.

Have big plans to do laundry tonight. I used the cold damp basement as an excuse for too long. Its finally supposed to warm up this weekend so I can't put it off much longer. The laundry pile is just scary and when the kitties see it as playground, its time to tackle it.

Weather was great yesterday. Didn't wear a jacket. This am just wore a sweatshirt and didn't wear my knit hat. Oh, I can't wait for warm weather!

Sorry to hear that everyone is sick! Been trying to stave off the "cooties" myself...I swear that my smoothie addiction is working for me. Been making smoothies with fresh fruit and yougurt in my blender.
