I will admit I do love toys! I have a camera on my phone, but I rarely use it. I prefer my trusty old digital camera. I still read regular old books---too many I think!

I'm on the last book of the Percy Jackson series and I really enjoyed it. The author is starting a new series next year.

Had to look him up---half boy, half god, all hero. Is that him? Would it be sci fi or fantasy? I had some time travel books several years ago and I loved them but cannot seem to find any now.

This keyboard for the netbook is tiny. I'm having some problems with my normal typing but I'm getting used to it....

I don't see how people type on those cell phones...I blow it on a regular keyboard. But I guess it's like you said...getting used to it. I did like the laptop I had when I taught. Some don't like the touchpad...I would rather use that though.

The touchpad on this thing is weird too..its called multi gesture, which I can't figure out. There are these little diagrams, but I can't seem to get my fingers to do them properly...

I see a lot of people using the net on their phones and it would drive me crazy. Too small! I don't know how they read/reply to emails.

I was thinking the same thing as I was LOL.

My phone has a camera but I don't use it. I won't pay to send it anywhere so why take a pic? Can't figure out my voice mail..won't accept my PIN. Well there's nothing very important sent to me via cell phone anyway.
We just checked out our new GPS for the car. It had us driving in the desert! I turned it off and waited a few minutes then it seemed to work. I wasn't a happy camper there for a while.

Good afternoon ladies. Another clear and sunny day here...

DL55...you have to check your settings. Some GPS units can be set to just take major roads, avoid tolls, fastest route or shortest distance. I often find shortest distance is the scary "where the heck are we going????" way that takes me to all sorts of new and exciting destinations...

Arggh...I am so frustrated at the moment. I went to Staples yesterday to mail a box to my aunt in Canada via UPS. The barely pubescent boy-let that was helping me was too busy flirting with the other cashier and acting macho to the other post-pubie that he did my paperwork wrong! I received an email from UPS stating that my package had been returned....but no one from Staples let me know! So I called the store and spoke to some other not-paying-attention person who told me that yes, my package was ther, but I had to return to the store to fill out the proper paperwork.

Now, I don't mind going, but it is horribly annoying. I'm disturbed that Staples made no motion to try to contact me. What if my email had gone to the Spam box? Would they have returned it to my home? Or would it just have rotted there? Grrr....

Ok, rant over. Feel much better.

Where has everyone been lately? Are y'all playing on FB? I haven't been there in so long...I'm almost afraid to look!
