My college alma mater has this funny event called Steppingg on the Coat. Legend has it years ago there was snow in April after a really rough winter. In exasperation, a student threw off his coat on the main quad and jumped on it in protest. The snow stopped.

Now every year its an organized event. All the students (and some professors) go out to the quad, throw down their coats and scream "enough already!". and there's music and snacks.

so, for Pike and everyone, to Mother Nature--"ENOUGH ALREADY!"

Mere - Congratulations on 2 years!!! :lovestruc Have fun tonight...I love drive ins.

Pike - I'd be annoyed too. I'm not exactly a very patient woman when it comes to waiting for something I'm really looking forward to!

MK - That is an AWESOME tradition! :rotfl2:

OMG! I just got my tix for Celtic Woman and Ticketmaster sent me the wrong tix! For someone named William P., wrong section, wrong number of tix, wrong everything!

I have to call Ticketmaster...but right now I'm full-on panicking. Really, for the price that they charge for service....now this? It'll be interesting...did someone else get my tix? And what if its not William P? hmmm....

UPDATE: just called them and they emailed me my tickets (usually a $2.50 charge to print MY tickets using MY ink...go figure) and cancelled William's ticket. I do hope he really looks at his tickets before the show and is not unpleasantly surprised on show day....I may mail the cancelled tickets to him and let him know...

Weather is very chilly here today. But the sun is shining so I can't complain. Well, I could but what's the point. Mother Nature doesn't listen to me anyway.....much like my kids.

MK, aren't those ticketmaster fees outrageous? And for all that money you have to pay them, they still can't get it right!

Mere, congrats! Did you say what you are going to see? We still have 2 drive-ins around here. One of them is even two screens.

Pikester, sorry about the book. I hate when that happens but at least this way you'll get the most up to date info.

Hi everyone!

I so wish we still had drive in's here. Have a great time!!!

MK that would be nice of you to mail him his tix. Or if you wanted to, you could try giving him a call. If you have his address it should be easy enough to call information and get his phone number.

I got a random entertainment book in the mail a couple of weeks ago. When I called them they said to just send it back to them. I guess whoever Kitty something or other is, does not know her address or something. I hope she ended up getting it. I sent it back. :confused

DH is outside painting some primitive hutches we made a couple of months ago out of wood from my Moms old barn.. He is painting a mermaid on the front of one so it will be nautical theme. Nautical seems to sell good around here this time of year. I will post a pic later if he finishes on time.

Not much else going on. Just cooking dinner...fun fun. hamsteak tonight. We have not had that in years. But it is just me and DH tonight so it seemed like a good idea. :)

Pepper....you got my Entertainment book?

Yup, still chilly over here. Makes me enjoy my coffee that much more!

Here is the jelly cupboard that DH built and painted. He does not like the face, but I do.

Me either ha ha.

Thanks for the compliments I will pass them on. He thinks he "stinks" but he enjoys doing it and people buy it :rotfl: I love his stuff.

Pepper, that looks awesome. I'm like whgrn and can only draw stick figures and that's even debatable. :lmao:

DD6 just came walking into the living room wearing her Capt. Jack costume. :rotfl2:

I've heard that about you. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
Actually...I'm cheap but not easy. ;)

Well, I'm a little cranky. Just found out that the release date for the Passporter's Disney Cruise Line 2010 has been pushed back to May. When I preordered the release date was in April but they are trying to get some new inforamation about the Disney Dream updated in the book before they send it out to us.

I want it NOW!
This is a side of you we've never seen before. :rotfl2:
