lilmiss, I use to follow wrestling way back in the day. I still have a passing interest in it when DH turns it on. Jeff use to wrestle with his brother, right? Been a while so the memory is a little foggy.

D&D, you mean one of these pictures....

Exactly!!!! ::yes::

I saw your other post and they are awesome. I'm going to print them and add them to my collection of "awesome Disney Pictures"

yeah Jeffrey used to wrestle with Matt. It got interesting when Matt tried to "hurt" his little brother jeff.

That's a great idea.

Back when I was in high school, before it was cool to make one, I made a "bucket list". Seeing the shuttle take off is one of the things on the list. (Going to Disney was another - and I've checked that off a few times. :thumbsup2)And now, with only 2 more shuttle missions to go, I am running out of time.
There is a mission on July 30th. May just have to go down there early and stay til you get there in Aug. :lmao:

lilmiss, yeah Matt was his name. I sat here with DH trying to figure out his name. Old age and kids affects us both. I started watching wrestling way back in the 70's before it became as popular as today. I watched all the way through the early/mid 90's.

Do you only watch TNA wrestling? And forgive me for not following how things work but is WWE tied into them?

D&D, I would love to see the shuttle launch. I love all that kind of stuff. And if DH could take the time off, I would so be there. But I've heard the shuttle almost never launches when they first say. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll delay it for when we are suppose to be there.

Darling fiance and I watch TNA habitually every week on Monday nights!! Jeff now works for TNA, his contract was "up" with WWE so he moved back to the TNA company.

WWE is not tied into TNA. Two completely different companies but lots of the old school guys (Ric Flair and Foley) and some younger ones (Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam) have moved to TNA. Some talk about how the quality of the matches are lacking and how WWE doesnt do nearly as many ladder matches as they used to.

I'm excited cause TNA tapes most of their shows in Orlando at Universal so you can bet where darling fiance and I will be headed on our trip down in December. Super excited. AND we're having a TNA pay per view party on April 18th. Super fun!!! Got decorations planned and everything. So yes, we're very into it. Darling fiance even used to do WWE/TNA style wrestling as well. I"m thinking about training. Want to do a Swanton.

Whew....that was a long winded post.

My friends can see the launch from the back of their house. We saw some rockets go up from there. The problem woth the launches is that they can be changed at the last min. They show them on tv down there. Thanks for the link D&D.

Long winded posts can be the norm around here. If you stick with us, which I hope :goodvibes , you'll see lots of them. :goodvibes

Like I said, I haven't watched in quite a few years. I have little ones at home and for a while it didn't seem "appropriate" for them. Sometimes it just works that way.

Flair is still wrestling???? Isn't he like 80 by now? :rotfl::rotfl: I remember watching him when I was just a little kid sitting on my grandpa's lap. Mick Foley always intrigued me. So calm and smart outside of the ring but a complete animal inside. Oh the days of my youth.

You mentioned college in one of your posts. What are you studying?

Pre Dentistry. Wanna be a peds dentist/ortho when I get older. I work as a dental/orthodontic assistant right now and I LOVE it!!!

That's pretty awesome that you found something that you love. How much longer do you have to go to school?

My oldest has her heart set on being a vet assistant. She did think at one point she wanted to be veterinarian but decided that she couldn't handle doing surgeries and stuff.

I have another year or so in Pre Dentistry. Then I have 4 years of general dentistry school and then 2 years of pediatric specialty school and I think about 2 or 3 years of ortho specialty so I wanna say 8 or 9 years. And on top of that, I'm going to school to get certified as a dental assistant in my state. It will allow me to get a larger salary along with the ability to perform more tasks.

Hey Gina! How's it hanging tonight?

lilmiss, that's a lot of school. :scared1: Have you always known this is what you wanted to do? I only ask because my oldest is only 14 and seems to know what she wants to do with the rest of her life.
